In investment, intelligent people tend to exaggerate into scenarios, which dumb people don't see at all. But they are the majority of investors, so price go up. See Buttcorn, it was clear that it needed so much work and improvement to meet any kind of real world use cases. When these features did not materialize, intelligent people thought it would die. But then, first mover struck, aka let's buy big brand.

I was by far the naturally smartest person at school and am probably by far the richest.

I got here through investing £25k into BTC at 19 and another £25k at 23 and holding to present day but my job and education are also excellent. I do wonder how much of it is down to intelligence and how much was down to other factors like luck.
