As a trader, if a coin is not performing or I hit a stop loss, I sell it and take the loss. Then I look for new opportunities to get a profitable trade. Usually these are newer more promising crypto projects. I don't hold long-term anymore. Held some ETH for years but that was by accident (forgot that wallet even existed). Sold the ETH a few months back, that was like 7 year hold, got mega lucky. Only a small amount but I made like $200 profit. But yeah nah I don't hold altcoin bags anymore. I trade and close.
