Why is it theres more sells than buys happening, the amount of tokens I can get goes above the value of what im buying?
Example.
1. I have 100k USDT on wallet
2. I select to buy 100k worth of Memecoin X
3. Memecoin X is currently dumping a little bit
4. Trade window says I can swap 100k USDT for 101k of Memecoin X
So my price impact is literally negative? I get paid $1000 worth of the coin extra to buy?
But if the coin is going up, it will be in reverse, the swap will tell me I'll get $99k worth of the token, instead of $100k... so I'll lose $1k to price impact.
Can someone please explain why?
Example.
