>>60555140 (OP) MSFT, GOOG, META & AMZN have teams that they call LENS (Law Enforcement Notification System), sometimes acronym is different but net effect is that they need guys with LE backgrounds, preferably w/ clearance to handle the sensitive shit that they are bombarded with every day from law enforcement. Have a lookyloo, you could score huge
>>60555140 (OP) how does the AI know to have the pockets sticking out from under the jeans like that.

Yeah absolutely. Putting that on your resume helps a lot since for the company to get someone a clearance costs them like a quarter million dollars. If you already have it, getting it renewed costs way way less.
If you want TS, apply for a federal job. If you get hired, they'll give you a temporary TS clearance and then the government will get you cleared then you can go back to private sector fully cleared.
>>60556295 Thanks anon. I can’t get TS atm because I have “foreign contacts” through family members.

I have a TS/SCI clearance and I’m a dumb zogbot. The polys are supposed to be harder for non zog positions. They apparently look for having a four year degree and NET+ and SEC+. It’s also a lot of who you know. Could prob get an internship somewhere and work up from there. It’s p comfy.
>>60556393 I have a Net+ and Sec+, I’m graduating in May and I’m trying to have my CCNA by that time as well. I also got 1.5 years of experience in the field and a federal internship. But I don’t know anyone in the industry at all.
>>60556417 I guess I’m confused. Did you not make any contacts during the year and a half you worked in the field? None of them can vouch for you? Also what’s with the foreign contacts? Like what country are we talking about? >>60556435 I’m pretty stupid but I scored high on the GT section of the ASVAB like 10 years ago due to having taken HVAC in hs so here we are. Trust me there’s ton of turbo autists and losers in those agencies.
>>60556445 Oh when I say field, I meant doing general IT work for a university, not specifically clearance work for the DoD or anything like that.
I got my security clear from the military, but my work there was in aviation.
>foreign contacts
My wife and I have non US citizens in our family from Mexico.

>>60556435 95% of people get it in the military, and the other 5% are federal employees. Then contractors and private corps hire from that pool.
I actively avoided getting it (never had to do polygraph) because it's a pain in the ass to do work in the SCIF. Eventually I did get it and I hated it and then I let it lapse (whoops) so now I don't have the golden ticket to actually getting hired. Oh well. I'm still an unemployed vet so if I raise a stink it wouldn't be hard to get a job somewhere, just call up my congressman and whine about it.
