My accountant almost screwed me up. He did the FIFO calculations after a split wrong. He was taking the purchase price from the post-split stocks being added as the purchasing price instead of just doing FIFO normally but adjusted nominally to the new amount of shares. I had to do it myself with LibreCalc and I suck at math but eventually got it done and I asked some people that agreed it was correct. I asked ChatGPT and it fucked it up 4 TIMES, AI is fucking retarded, you have to be on top of it all the time correcting mistakes. Grok is even less reliable. This is why I barely trade btw, because taxes a nightmare if you make a lot of trades. So I just put my buy orders and baghold throught volatility. Ironically I probably do better than most because of this.
