Pretty good day for AI DASHCAMS
Fuck. I missed the PLTU dip.
New to SMG, so hello to all of you.
Im in my 20s, and made a good bit off crypto back in 2021. I have approx 70k net worth right now. I feel very lucky to be in this position. Trying to figure out what to do with stocks.
Because ive been a crypto and PMG head for a long time, i am now wanting to go into stocks.
What is the play? 2x LETFs?
If so, what do you guys recommend. I think im too young to just boomer max into voo only. Ive held 70k in crypto and pms for this long, and somewhat like the risk, but am trying to tone down, as I think this amount of money is super lucky at this age, and I want to be careful with it. Things surged today, and im not sure if now is a bad time to enter.
Open to any ideas. Hope you all are well.

>>60556357That is manifestly not true, my young padawan.

>>60556376Keep good records, sounds like harassment. If your complex tries to give you shit about something you tell them you are suffering severe mental and physical stress from the non stop harassment from their contractor.
>>60556387Well they aren't targeting me specifically, it's just marketing spam. But it is annoying that I got signed up for it without being asked. I'm sure there was something in the lease or the TOS for something, but I don't care enough to look it up.
I guess it might be a sign of the times though that they feel the need to let everyone know they can put their monthly rent on a payment plan if they need to.
>>60556400>Well they aren't targeting me specificallyYes they are. They did not get your name at random, it was provided to them by the apt complex. You need to learn how things really work to keep out of trouble and to put pressure on those who try to give you trouble. When I lived an apt they did a garage inspection in the new 20 year old manager told me I could not have an empty gas can in my garage. I told her the empty gas was approved by the US DOT so she would have to take it with them. She had no idea what to say and just hung up. Never heard from her again.
Rate cuts = bearish
There is a reason rate cuts have preceded recessions. The FED can see the economy is faltering and cuts rate to stimulate the economy. September is forecasted to be next rate cut, so the bullrun will last another 2 months
>>60556418>The FED can see the economy is falteringThe Fed has all the data they need and know what is going on. If they cut rates the cut them late because the want the economy to contract, it makes it cheaper to buy up distressed assets. Like a Boa constrictor they just keep squeezing and tightening their grip. The job of the fed to assist with the wealth transfer from the masses to the 0.01% who control the stock market, bond market, real estate market, banks, insurance, manufacturing.
>>60556418True but it doesn't matter because rate cuts necessitate money flows out of now lower yielding mmfs into equities so its still bullish. At first.
>>60556430You sound like a communist
I was thinking about how to profit from greater israel.
They're gonna control the Suez canal, all the oilfields of Syria, Iraq and part of Saudi Arabia.
They're gonna make oil prices go up because they're Jews so they'll charge more for oil. They're also going to tax every ship that goes through the Suez canal right?
Of course we have to assume america spends a few trillion dollars of printed money on subjugating the middle east, destroying iran and taking part of turkey for Israel. The dollar will become toilet paper with the printing.
What other things could greater israel control? Tech companies? They're all Jewish so they might relocate to Israel

>>60556534Amazon's PE was high because it was reinvesting ever last dollar back into the business. Its price to sales was a very reasonable 1.9 back in 2013. I wonder what the price to sales ratio is for Palantir? Let's check shall we?

i plan to trim my cost basis out but i need to review my notes, not a meme pump anyways so i have time, still only a 110m million market cap, mostly fundamentals from the huge contract (which was actually in public domain from the transit proposal documents since monday, just not announced as news as antone) being discovered by more people
lol that sneaky buyer on monday tho that bought 1 million shares while everyone else was confused and just sold to the unknown buyer
ai dashcams story will soon be finished and my obsession for the past few years will be gone :( but money is the priority
>>605567114, 5, 6 I don't really keep track. Sold an ASTS put, took the premium and bought ASTS shares. Got assigned, will sell an ASTS call Monday and buy more ASTS shares with the premium. I betting their sats get launched on a regular schedule this year and next - their service is going to be used by all the big telecoms.
>>60556719>ai dashcams story will soon be finishedsmall company with small volume traded. How will you cash out if its that thinly traded?
>>60555833I'm up 122k+ this week. i'm hoping it continues to rally
>>60556730dump on the insitutions who are finally getting in, now that it's over $1/100m market cap then that hits the checklist for institutions to buy in for liquidity, practically all the volume until now was basically retail traders
retail traders have the opportunity as long as it's actually a company that's fundamentally strong, but most pennyscams are scams with cashburn and shit balance sheets so they have to dilute shares to survive, thats the only reason i made an exception for ai dashcams since they were actually profitable already for almost 2 years before they ramped up r&d, expansion, marketing etc
TSX.V volume was 2.3m, i dont think it's going to stay at 0.17% institutional ownership for long, even on monday it was over 1m,
and obviously that doesnt even count the OTC volume or ATS (alternate exchanges) volume, actual volume today on Canadian side was 3.8m
mind you i dont recommend buying it anymore, im planning to trim 140k shares next week as more retail traders buy, or more likely some institutional funds buying more, as much as i think it can go higher i have to trim out of risk management
at 110m million market cap it can go higher if it has a clear route to achieving profitable 100m+ revenues, but staying 100% position is just not sustainable for my sleep health
>>60556748> if it has a clear route to achieving profitable 100m+ revenues, let me rephrase that, it HAS a clear route
the canadian schoolbus market alone will be almost $200million in just hardware alone over the next 10 years (typical hardware cycle is 6-10 years), never mind recurring revenue for ai video surveillance services and more
the tariffs has made leafs mad and will prioritize my ai dashcams (gatekeeper) because the main competitor SEON is now owned by safefleet which is american so no to that.
meanwhile on the US side they just wont a US$23 million contract with the MTA for next 3 years, and who knows what else they'll win, SEPTA loves them and basically shilled their hardware/services to MTA which is why MTA picked ai dashcams lmao (i.e. savings of up to $22m per year from fraudulent lawsuits)
i love it and fundamentals + price discovery actually worked, mostly because institutions/algos cannot do anything to tickers that have too small liquidity early on, but i'll be selling a good chunk of my shares to take my cost basis out, just for self preservation

Europoor here, I want FINANCIAL advice
So i started investing in early april with 12k. I have put 2k into btc and 10 k in my portfolio. I own 56 vcwe, 105 wdef and 50 BULL(got them yesterday). I am up 2k realized PL from trading options. I have a margin account.
Is there anything else I can be doing ? Im up 8% in my wdef position, my vcwe position is eating shit due to EURUSD fuckery, and what I basically do every week is run csps on HOOD. Also 1,5k of my gains were eaten to repay credit card debt but it had to be done.
>>60557027Repay all your debts before you invest any more
>>60557027Also build and emergency fund so that next time you suddenly need to pay something like that you dont have to touch your gains

>>60557029Don't have any debts. Also i havent put any more money in my portfolio, its growint from option premium alone + ive withdrawn some to pay for some other shit too.
I was thinking of getting a 6k loan to invest. My job (military) offers loans, at 4% FIXED interest. 6k with 5 year plan basically means -120 in my salary for 5 years which is pretty manageable actually.
>>60557030I have another account which is basically my life savings along with my sister (around 70k) but I dont touch that unless it's literal life or death situation.

>>60557041Yeah its paid in full. I had it ignored for a long time and I realized it could 3x in a few years from ((((interest))))
>>60557042Cheap
Also its near support, my sl is set at 9.5(52 week low). If it doesn't work I lose like 50 usd. BULL has been catering to third worlders for trading so I assume it can follow HOOD trajectory. If it doesn't i don't care, position size is small anyway and on cash so I can keep it forever.
>>60557045>I had it ignored for a long time and I realized it could 3x in a few years from ((((interest))))People don't notice how big their losses are from maintaining a balance like that. >>60555796 (OP)Tariff deal status?
>>60557215>but they do this a lot, so probably no affect on stonksIt's a relic of the past century. A century of colonial btfo (century of humiliation) left the country with a weak judicial system, so they got by with the good ol' boys system of handshake favors and shaky promises. They do not follow orders to the letter. Basically third world power consolidation. The Chinese call it Guan Shui (็ๆฐด), or "irrigate to artificially increase weight", or cooking the books.
Because of that, it led to a massive corruption problem where that same quid pro quo system lead to their buddies stealing and pilfering shit from the government. It's incredibly widespread and Xi Xinping is basically trying to purge a lot of that corruption problem from the Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping days. It's getting to the point where it's actually really harmful to the Chinese government. China's worst enemy is from within.
>>60557221>I feel like this is a reverse 911 joke somehow. "water can't melt steel beams"Nah, it's just some lulzy news that Chinese military brass stole rocket fuel to sell off and filled it with water to avoid suspicions on weight. No one really knows if the story is true, but there was a lot of angry translated screeching thar really only shows up when translating from Chinese to English, saying that it's disgusting western pigdog lies, and it would be preposterous to believe such foolish nonsense.
>>60557176Agreed, but I cant invest that money since it's on a joint account with my sister. Its invested by the bank and we get 5k yearly in returns, which is dogshit and I could do better but it is what it is.
>>60557208just all in on LEAPs switching between companies that might net me 2x return in a year. pretty boring. the best play i made was all in on a crypto miner when BTC was recovering. i used all that gains to switch over to robinhood which doubled my money after they launched robinhood legends/futures. then I used everything to buy 997 leaps on sofi when it got beat the fuck up due to trump tariff announcement. That stock while it is a POS most of the time had cheap as fuck options and consistent earnings beat.
I use https://www.optionsprofitcalculator.com/ to see if the play is worth it
i just got lucky because not all my accounts reflect the same amount of gains. I tried being an active trader. I lost a fuckton of money over the years so I stuck to LEAPs.

Also you don't long VIX when it's around 10-20. You short VIX when it's 30-60. Gitgud.
dont mind me just (((very normal))) price action passing on through goys
oh yea someone asked me a little bit ago why do vertical spreads vs simple longs.
- much lower theta decay
- less capital needed
- less risk
>>60557394You can also do credit spreads with verticals.
Long dated especially, can give you a lot of cash in hand without exposing yourself to catastrophic assignments
>>60557399interesting. im not familiar with this. what happens if you use the credit to go do something else and lose it? you wouldnt be able to close the spread right?
>>60557378thanks bro. if i can't judge a price target then its atm or slightly itm but if know the stock is going to hit a certain price then otm for sure
>>60557386because some of the stocks i'm watching look like potential baggers. I would love to switch over premium chasing and quit my job but I want that million and own a home first.
>>60557411The spread , similar to selling a call or put, has a market value. To close your position, you need to REBUY it. If the market goes the opposite direction, the value of the option goes up, and you pay more to close it than what you got.
Example:
You sell a crwv bull put spread. Maximum loss is the difference between short and long leg, let's say 1k. You receive 500 usd instantly. You can do whatever you want with it.
Now let's say crwv moons. This causes the legs of the spread to lose value rapidly. Now you can rebuy it for cheaper than the credit you received, and profit. Or even let it reach 0 value eventually.
Opposite? Crwv dumps. Both legs gain value. Now you have to buy it at higher price than the premium you got. You have a loss.
>>60557394Does it beat holding the underlying though?
Every meme strategy ive seen underperforms simply buying the underlying..
>>60557442Credit spreads pay you for the underlying not dumping.
>>60556181its really insane and the average europoor doesn't even understand how bad this is and the government controls it all so your retirement age constantly goes up and if you die before it the government gets to keep the money as it wont be an inheritance like for americans that have personal retirement funds instead of the commie pyramid scheme

Should I just buy 1 year ITM leaps on big companies like nvida and palantier?
