What matters is human psychology - if you pay your workers a good income, it will become their new norm, and they'll start expecting MORE

You should pay them the least amount as you can, because no matter how much you pay them theyre always going to be wanting more...

im an accounting manager. i wfh and slack off whenever i can. i also crack the whip on my outsourced indian subordinates and constantly throw them under the bus. it's nothing personal, i just hate all indians and think they should be hanged to death.

questions to bosses here from the perspective as an employee. we are a small team of 3 people. me and the other 2 dudes are basically doing the same thing while I as the person with the most experience do most of the work and have most of the responsibility (I only get paid 5-10% more than the others). the other dudes dont pull their weight and are constantly stealing time, I basically have 3x their output. I ignored that shit at first but after a while I realized that they are basically stealing MY time not just company time since I have to do their work. my question is should I complain about it like a faggot or straight up keep ignoring it (also faggot move). I like the job just not these faggots. how would you guys react if one of your employees would come up to you with this problem. I feel like I am in a loss/loss situation here.

Bosses ususlly know who is doing the heavy lifting. Complaining makes you weak. The plan then could be to get ready to move up. Once you separate yourself from the other two, you will be better positioned to be their boss. Your boss most likely sees your effort (hence you better pay) and is quietly assessing if youre ready to move up.
Income follows, it doesnt lead. Once you act like a manager of the other two, you increases your value. Now your boss only has to deal with you, not three of you. And Id bet he doesnt like the other two, he simply tolerates them. Do what you can to focus your mind on separation and management of the other two.
A guaranteed raise is to make life easier for the person in charge of your pay rate.
If they dont recognize it after a time, be ready to move on- with the newly practiced skills. You can always increase your value by developing yourself.

I am a "boss" for 20 people. While mostly subordinates are ok, I hate my fucking job, I get paid 20% more than some of my subordinates, while having to do twice the work. Constant inflow of escalations.
