so the medical industry was essentially rigged to make the cost of medical procedures and the cost of medicine so high that one would need insurance to pay for operations. and if you have to use that insurance, we're gonna charge you more for using it.

what's stopping, lets say the automotive repair industry from banding together and doing the same shit. start raising the cost and labor rates so high that people have to now have automobile repair insurance. new tires? $2k per wheel. tune up? $5k for cars $10k for trucks. the idea being the cost for the repair or maintenance item would be far greater than it's actually worth but jsut like the medical field people need their cars like they need their health.

Extreme competition. Medical field has no competition, there's always more demand than supply, and medical lobbies make sure it stays that way.

Because you can buy a new car, you can’t buy a new you. I’m an orthopedic surgeon, specifically I do knee and hip arthroplasty and we are practically running a charity. When you’re 70 and can barely walk anymore you would pay way more than the pittance of 50k or so that an arthroplasty goes for nowadays. It cost my family in the 7 figures to get me here, and after all is said and done I barely get 10-15k from an operation, which is also highly risky for me, if I have an off day and fuck up I at best have to pay a few hundred grand or at worst lose my license and go to jail. Go die in Mexico or some shit when you get sick.

That's the attitude that is grown without competition. Did you ever say thank you to your patients?

If it’s so easy and no competition why don’t you just start changing hips and knees in your garage? You’re smart enough aren’t you? Maybe then you can say thank you to your patients and right the wrongs we commit.

The government would literally arrest you. Just like they stop monopolies elsewise they protect the monopolies in this industry...

Indeed, the main reason why healthcare is so expensive is because of arbitrary government meddling, in a better society, one with personal responsibility, there would be no need for medical licensing and medical insurance would have a much less prominent role. Anybody could be a doctor and as a customer you could just pay in cash. Caveat emptor. The only reason it is set up the way it is now is because the USA and its citizens are used as the global profit center for medical research and development

Medical has always been expensive because dieing people will pay literally anything

It wasn't that bad until taxpayers started funding it because now the medical industry is basically hooked up directly to the money printer

I'm a doctor in Europe and only earn about 2 to 3 times what the people with completely superfluous jobs (where when they don't come in for months it doesn't make any difference at all) earn, I feel stupid doing this depressing work and the cancer causing night shifts when so many others get basically free money. There is also a doctor shortage which is not surprising considering that fiat money has grossly devalued labor.

The medical industry didn't do that. Jews took over the medical industry and enshittified it. They could do the same to the auto industry just like you say, but the auto industry couldn't do it organically because Jews would stop them.

Just a part of living in an occupied nation.
