How do I convince my boomer parents for early gibs so I can actually afford to buy a house?
advice/tactics with dealing with the boomer?
>>60558518 (OP)If your parents are not aware enough of current economic conditions and that most young home owners are helped by their parents, they obviously are uncaring and won’t help you. Normal parents help their children and don’t need convincing.
>>60558539they told me they had it harder when they were young buying houses because rates were higher and wages were lower. They actually believed this when I pushed the question again on them.
They are in their mid 60s and fat boomers and going to retire in a year from now but I fear I have to wait another 20 years for gibs. Obviously I don't want them to die but they seem to not get the hint how hard it is for me. Then they wonder why I don't give them grandchildren

say she is pregnant
buy a house
leave her and say she aborted it

Just zog and do it on your own anon. Your parents, if they haven’t helped you already, do not care. Leave them behind and build your own life. It’ll be hard, but trust me, boomers are physically incapable of caring for others, or building long lasting communities. Their entire lives and word views have been poisoned by years of propaganda and entitlement.
>>60558539Correct
>>60558566Redpill me on this
>>60558576you have actually good advice but my thought process was if they think there are grandkids in the pipeline then they will be more inclined to help
you could entice them further by saying stuff like
>yeah i think we are gonna have to move to *far away place* because it's cheaper and has good schoolsthey wont want that so they might help with a local downpayment
>>60558518 (OP)do you have a gf who you want to start a family with? that's the only way
your boomer parents aren't gonna buy you a house so you can just sit in it and play vidya games, retard
>>60558587exactly, this guy gets it
houses are for families
boomers understand this
the emotional blackmail of moving far away also helps
Can they actually afford to do it?
Yeah like 30% of young people go to the bank of mom and dad for their first home buy now, but most can’t because most can’t afford to help
>>60558518 (OP)You need to challenge your dad to a wrestling match and dominate him physically. Once you've done this subtly undermine him and help your mom with things when she asks him to. When the time comes ask him through a statement saying "I need..." with a lilt to your voice that sort of suggests if you don't get it you will take his house. If he says no cry run to your room and slam the door and scream cry and then act like nothing happened and challenge him to a wrestling match again the next day. Once you beat him and have him pinned, say something like "yeah, you're not gonna give me the money huh, see what I can do when I choose to not be restrained. You only have your house now because I let you." Then let go and play it off as a joke. When you eat dinner over there then sit in his spot. Tell your mom the meal was great but that you do not feel well and are gonna lie down for a little bit and go lay in his side of the bed and spend the entire night. When you get up take a shower in his bathroom and then wear his robe without drying off first. Gradually begin parking in his spot in the garage when he is away and play it off as unintentional as though you didn't know he would be coming back. Drink his drinks in the fridge. Around this time you're gonna wanna start making the wrestling matches a weekly mandate. If he refuses, just initiate it. Make sure to mention to your mom how you keep beating him and how old he has gotten through jest. By now his spot in the garage should be thought of as being more or less a fungible functional spot available to whoever. Start insisting on meals your mom would make instead of what was planned. If your dad insists you eat what was prepared or planned for tamp him down with a "now now" sort of tempering implication and if he does not, wrestle him into submission while laughing about what a joke it is. A few months more and you will have a loan.
>>60558518 (OP)Pretend to be an indian and scam them over the phone, they will give you as much as you want
>>60558560They're not wrong. In the 70's the interest rates on a mortgage were around 18%, you couldn't even get within sniffing distance of a loan unless you were able to put 50% down, no matter how good your credit rating was.
>>60558560how fucking selfish are you? you deserve nothing you stupid faggot.
Wasn't this same thread posted here a month ago?
Boomers are actually easily brainwashed, that's why they all think the same. You need to approach them with the same strategy as a corporate employee would seek internal funding for a project. It takes several meetings (dinners), spaced a few weeks apart, don't ask on the first meeting, bring up the subject slowly. Create a logical argument, repeat it over a few dinners. Don't forget to compliment them on their intelligence while you are actively manipulating them.
>>60559145But wages were higher compared to the cost of living. Assets and educational fees have inflated much faster than incomes.
>>60558560they are correct
you are both stupid and selfish and don't deserve their money
>>60559198What part of eighteen fucking percent interest did you not understand?
>>60559214>>60559152Day of the pillow soon, boomer.
>>60559248Being an asshole hasn't actually ever helped me to win an argument, or convinced anyone of anything.
