With copper at current prices, it pays 32 cents an ounce when people were lucky to get 25 cents an ounce(4 a pound) in the past. People in competitive areas I understand, but people in the midwest and rust belt where theres the most trash. Get into dumpster diving and just avoid bed bugs youll find hundreds of dollars of stuff and its fun. Start taking home vacuum cleaners and TVs to rip apart, and while youre waiting for market stuff to go by pass time by being active with your hands. This definitely won't have you make it but you smashing cans ripping up TVs and recycling the copper from the local construction site that's on the way back from work really adds up.
