when you're selecting from a table by a unique id, make sure to keep it as a generic object, and then put it in a list, and then put that list in a generic hashmap. don't just return the 1 object in the actual class it is, do this instead. because you're indian and should be killed

when you have a class with 45 properties on it, and there is no local dev environment, make sure to override the tostring so it will only print the object key and nothing else

make sure to duplicate data across multiple tables and the have the backend and front end read from different tables, so when something is deleted from the backend it still displays on the frontend. then leave it like that for 10 years while no one that has worked on the project has the brain capacity to figure out what is going on

kill indian contractors

Vietnamese here, what you have there is our sovereign gold (backed and manufactured by the government, SJC meaning Saigon Jewelry Company is the government's mint)

It has a higher premium than normal gold in exchange for ease of trade (obviously)

The locals can get their hands on these bars very easily, provided that they have money for it (most of us don't make enough to buy 3.75grams of gold every month)

A piece of bread (banh mi) with beef and full of meat is like 80 Cent, let's say a dollar right now

Consider a gold bar standard in our country cost 4600 USD (37.5gram)
I ran a calculator and came up with 0.008 grams of gold for a banh mi. Who buys street food with gold anyway?

where I live the same food would cost you $16 or about 0.15 grams gold for the cheapest vendor. A good sub from a restaurant would cost about $25 or 1/4 gram gold.

even at those prices you'd probably need to sell 10 sandwiches per hour minimum just to make a living after taxes and food cost. You'd need to be making about a gram and a half of gold per hour just to pay taxes and survive.

crazy price differences.

Threadly reminder: the US government created Bitcoin. They were talking about creating cryptocurrency as early as 1996 and thatโ€™s on the public record. Yeah, money with a chain of title is NOT something that can be anonymous. Not to government and law enforcement anyway.
Plus the whole story behind Bitcoins just sounds extremely fake & gay.
>Satoshi Nintendo, a BASED Japanese genius, created Bitcoin and he doesnโ€™t want any recognition & accolades, nor a pulpit to explain his invention.
Are there any other examples reclusive inventors who have entrusted strangers on the internet to implement their discovery? I canโ€™t think of any. US gov created a the legend of a fake Japanese guy because they know young people love video games and Japanese cartoons, and distrust US gov agencies.

Hello anons,

I had seen a previous general that recommended against certain Gold ETFs, and recommended others that held physical gold.

Of course, I also stack physical gold, usually Krugerrandโ€™s and Credit Suisse bars (selected for my own reasons)
My goal in buying a Gold ETF in addition to my physical Gold is to increase liquidity and transparency to financial institutions where required while still holding a significant portion of my money in physical assets I own and control. I am not interested in hearing why Precious Metal ETFs are bad โ€” I already know.

Can anyone help elucidate which Gold ETFs are worth buying and actually backed by physical Gold, held by the company that is offering the ETF?

Thank you.

no, most of us unloaded silver in the 90's. What we had left got sold off in 2011-12.

we have real estate and stocks. Maybe some crypto. None of it will be left when we die. We're spending that shit so the hospitals and retirement homes don't get it.

If we have silver it's usually in the form of rare coins. Which may become nearly worthless when all the boomers finally die off. Hard to say. Lots of millenials and zoomers getting into coin collecting, but they seem to like modern stuff while most boomer collections are antiques and extreme rarities. They could go out like stamps did. I used to have a stamp collection worth a couple houses. Now it wouldn't buy a tiny house.

lots of companies will take gold or houses or cows or anything else you feel like paying with because there's tax advantages to accepting stuff at wholesale value in lieu of payment and then selling it at retail.

No company you deal with would do that, because you are poor and don't deal in tens of thousands of dollars, let alone millions. But if you ever get rich you'll find cash isn't necessarily preferred. When you're trading millions, barter becomes cheaper from a tax standpoint.

How it works is you pay me RETAIL VALUE in gold.

I then claim payment as FAIR MARKET VALUE which is less than retail value.

I pay less taxes (the spread between retail and fmv)

then I can either sell my gold for retail and pay taxes on the difference, or trade it to someone else and avoid the taxes on retail while still getting full retail value.

this is tax AVOIDANCE, not evasion. It is NOT a crime. Because goods and services are worth whatever I sell them or trade them for, and not a cent more.

ExponentialFunction

>>60570548
>Yes, and that won't change in your lifetime
Wrong.
The reason you are wrong is the exponential nature of interest. Exponential functions have what is known as a "doubling period" and our economy relies solely on the expansion of credit. We have to deficit spend 100% of our tax revenues just to tread water. If we attempted to pay back a dollar, the government would have to stop spending $2TN which would be an implosion the size of the great depression on its face.
>So what, you say! We will just maintain the balance and continue to grow along with the money supply!
Exponential functions have what is known as doubling periods. (You can see this if you look at the national debt from Clinton to W to Obama to Trump to Biden etc. It keeps growing at faster intervals)
Hypothetical: If you need to full up a pool with water and you add a magical droplet that has the ability to DOUBLE every minute. It would look incredibly slow and kind of boring as it starts to fill up. However, like 90% of the pool will fill up in the last 5 minutes. The last doubling period will go from the pool being half full to overflowing. It will go from a manageable problem to "oh fuck we can't stop it".
Exponential functions in the real world are prevented by tangible things such as lack of space, lack of resources, wars, famine etc. When it comes to the dollar, there will be more credit flowing around with owed interest that is will dwarf the market caps of global production. Silver is the perfect example, the market cap of new silver each year is ONLY $24BN. We print up trillions for free out of thin air.
Those dollars chasing after real-world and it is over almost instantaneously.

The difference is the monetary debasement was only beginning. It is 2025 and the U.S. economy has not grown without the expansion of credit since 1983.
Eventually the government will not be able to defend the value of cash due to the interest payments. There will also be rising interest rates without the Fed needing to buy up everything because the deflationary debts and interest payments are in sums that cripple the economy. There are numerous reasons where things can go wrong.
The danger as we have all pointed out are credit assets losing purchasing power. Precious metals and real assets that are not credit-derived (such as mortgages, equities, insurance benefits etc) will be the real winner.
The government has to print $2TN just to maintain this shitty economy. That number is increasing, not decreasing. The only solution to correct the economy will be real-interest rates and a global bankruptcy to force deleveraging. That's not going to be a calm, orderly procedure. And as I have explained above:
1 - the reason is mathematically sound and a GUARANTEE to happen in our lifetime.
2 - We also know where the losses will be.
This is why I stack precious metals (as well as GME, because it is crash proof due to short sellers needing to BUY the shares back).
I will not be a victim of the fiat-fallout.

I see a wildly volatile asset chart which is the kind of asset that offers short term opportunities and zero long term stability.

If you are gonna gamble with your money you can get better returns at a high stakes blackjack table. Meanwhile, your entry and exit prices are the only numbers that are relevant to any individual whatsoever.

Literally 100% of Americans make regular investments into the capital markets. None of these banks or derivatives or any of it would work without the bond market allowing them to use garbage collateral to backstop loans. The smart move is to take your purchasing power off of the table. It's simply not as safe as it used to be and I think a short-squeeze induced market crash, similar to 2008 and the Volkswagen squeeze, is imminent.

hmm, lets see, how could it be possible to capture returns? The many small swings of metal that you think your chart implies as highly volotile but no returns?

Or is it the bitcoin part swining in value by 30%, as your chart indicates? Protip: its this option.

Volotile is what makes an investment possibility both good and bad, and if you have no exit price to compare aginst your entry cost, you have no returns.

This is literally basic finances and the fact you don't understand things when they are explained to you in simple terms just proves that any crypto bagholder is literally retarded.

That said, its far easier to smuggle gold unnoticed to transfer wealth, so pick up some swiss miss 20 franc pieces, pay vat if you get caught, and just swap gold for silver locally in person.

> Those dollars chasing after real-world and it is over almost instantaneously.
The final stage of inflation; hyperinflation, so difficult to grasp because it seems tied to the quantity and quality of the credit rather than simply just the quantity. Itโ€™s this inflection point when things start to move suddenly all at once. At a point in the credit expansion process where each new unit of credit, doesnโ€™t just debase the purchasing power of all other individual units of credit, but also debases the sum total of the entire credit pool. Itโ€™s a liquidity theory mechanic.

Everyone should look at how fast the turnaround here is. You stack today because something similar to this could happen. Even if we go through a 1933 style revaluation and return to a decade of "normalcy", you will still do well to avoid that loss of purchasing power.
There is no way to escape this other than through write-offs. You can't just use a sin-chicken to put all of the debts onto his balance sheet to isolate the defaults because the chicken can't actually give you any value to replace the debts.
Money gets SPENT. It gets USED and all that is left is an interest bearing place-holder. You would have to confiscate the entire U.S. housing market to make good on these debts. What's the point of having a financial portfolio that gives you income and benefits when it needs to steal your house to be paid? There is a little conundrum here and it's all smoke and mirrors to get YOU, the tax cattle, to hand over ALL of your time, energy, and resources to chase after "basis points". People have toiled their entire lives for a financial fiction and the actualization of these losses will affect them in the real world. It won't be a function of "big line go down". You will eat economic losses and there will not be a V shaped recovery so you end up wealthier in a few years. It will be permanent because no equivalent or larger bubble can be inflated.

Most platinum comes from South Africa (political risk) and Russia (political risk). Ed Steer also says that Platinum is #2 problem-commodity for the bullion banks simply due to the razor-thin supply.
Although Platinum may not have all of the qualities needed to be used as money, it is still an very compelling store of value based on supply/demand alone. I still think silver is the better value, but I could also see Platinum go on a Rh/Pd style runaway. It used to be twice the value of gold, and obviously demand will fall as the economy slows, but still. It it even catches up 1:1 with gold you could easily double you money.

It more than nets out to zero and you can see the price manipulation tamp down the price. The CFTC chairman himself has said on video that they need to "tamp down" the price of silver. (This is illegal price manipulation).
The derivative market is meant to assist with hedging the price fluctuations like you said. But it is also used to control and manipulate the price. Don't believe me, fine. But I believe the head of the CFTC that they are keeping the price down.

>Silver is a shit investment........now what?
now nothing

unless you're getting paid to say it, it's not a crime

to be honest if you were doing something illegal it would be promoting SBSW, not shitting on silver.

but a coin dealer can't tell you that coins are a bad investment just like they can't tell you they're a good investment. That's illegal because they're getting paid to sell it.

I am not getting paid, so I can say that silver and gold are excellent long term investments, and SBSW is a shit company.
