How bad would it be if germany pulled out of the EU? Would it all evaporate after that?

I think you have an oversimplified veiw of the system. They profit the most but this is just a result of increased risk. One day the music stops and it's all on Germany to hold the bag

I am French and you are absolutely right, moreover the French people are overwhelmingly hostile to the EU. We voted against the constitution in 2005 and Sarkozy at the time betrayed us to force it through the Treaty of Brussels. France is also going to experience an imminent debt crisis.

the euro weakened german's purchasing power, they can import less goods than before

the sad truth is that the euro hurt literally everyone involved in the hopes of achieving a pan-european political union that will never happen

France is worse than greece was before 2011 but the difference is no one is big enough to rescue them

for anons who want to see the euro gone our best chance to see that happen is a France debt crisis, hopefully it will happen in the next recession.
Love frenchbros but it needs to happen for the euro to disappear and sovereignty over a basic thing like a country's currency and monetary policy to return

I completely agree. We need a shock in our country to get better. Otherwise, people will never wake up. I would have liked it to be painless, but it won't be, and France always tends to emerge from crises much stronger than before. The EU has weakened us considerably, but so has our own blindness to what needed to be done, as well as a series of totally absurd political choices.

Most countries in there could hold it in past lives. It's a graveyard of powerhouses, carried to the current day by wagies and industralization inertia.
It could be a global power, hell, several global powers even but SOMEONE wants infinity jeets, infinity taxes and infinity laws.

Why would Germany pull out of EU, or more specifically the eurozone? The eurozone is a German ploy to scam the rest by bypassing the export-deflation loop inside it and offloading the deflation from exports outside the eurozone onto other countries.
>>60571788
Nobody cares what Dieter from Saxony can afford (he's an AfD voter anyway) because preventing eurozone countries from competing with Germany even domestically through exchange rates is much more important.
