1. No one really makes US minimum wage, especially in high cost of living areas to begin with.
2. Raise minimum wage to something crazy and you have more unemployed people, so then they still can't afford the basic cost of goods
3. If you actually do work full-time on a minimum wage you can do on ok in a backwater.
