fuck yeah it's true. the pandemic was the best thing that's ever happened to me and i miss it daily. my time was mine, all-fucking-mine, to do as i pleased as i floated on a cloud of money. time seemed to move slower for me than the wagies occupying public spaces. i had no fucking clue whatsoever the day of the week. they were a fucking glorious two years.

Yes, but most people will never really know it because they're brainwashed into believing that material wealth is the only thing that will make them happier. I realised a few years ago that consumerism will never make me happy, chasing the next item will leave you eternally empty because as soon as you receive the item the chase is over and the search for a new item begins.
You can never fill that hole in your soul with shiny objects, the more you fill it the bigger and deeper it gets.

If you have a yacht, a jet and a Lamborghini, you can still do all of those other things.
