>>60577896 >The community advocates are volunteers. They are not paid for their online support, translations or meetups! bizarre behavior. what is the incentive to do any of this?
>>60578342 EMPLOYMENT IF YOU PROVE YOURSELF TO BE A LOYAL SYCOPHANTIC ASSKISSER ON SOCIAL MEDIA, THEY MIGHT HIRE YOU ONE DAY. THINK OF IT LIKE AN INTERNSHIP LICK UP ALL THE SHIT CL LABS DUMPS ON YOU AND VALIANTLY DEFEND THEIR HONOR 24/7
>>60578342 just open up an western based website and you are swamped with resumes of third worlders that will do anything for you even free the output of course is even worth less than what you paid for it

Yes, people volunteer because it looks good on their resume but also because they don't mind donating their time to something they find interesting. >>60577843 >>60577853 Unpaid? Well, surely the jannies must take solace knowing that they make much more than these unpaid interns. By the way, how much do jannies make again?
To start off: Yes, we're unpaid. Most of us do it because we genuinely believe in the tech. Others do it to patch their resume. There are some that are frustrated with the token price, but they usually drop off quite early.
