Bros....There's so much going on. I am in my second year of uni and have around 7K saved up. Most of it is in a savings account but I know its getting obliterated by inflation. I have 1.5 in VOO, used to have more but sold 3/4 because WW3 scare. I still made some profit because I invest awhile ago. The question: do I wait for it to go down and buy again, or buy now because the market will continually rise? OR, do I put it in bitcoin, which also has the same question? I feel like the smartest thing I could do is put into both RN, but I feel like waiting for a dip would be a good idea. I'm not buying link or any other shitcoin and I'd rather not buy gold. Or maybe I should. Enlighten me.

learn to buy options with far out expireys
dont pay school a fucking cent for anything, take out as many loans with income driven repayment or whatever because any money you can get your hands on and make it move is a better chance

A safe play would be Avantis index funds, AVGV or AVUV. Their small cap / value funds are based on legitimate research from Fama & French. If you don't need any of that $7k then drop the whole lump sum in and never touch it, these types of ETFs will sustain you even through a crash on the level of the great depression if you just hold and let it rebound. Look up Ben Felix's youtube to learn more about it.
The key here is getting a good chunk of money invested in something that you can trust will serve you well in the long run even when the stock market tanks 80%+ tomorrow. This gives you room to go for more speculative things like crypto without getting scared out of your positions, or you can just keep dollar cost averaging into AVUV and retire at 40 with a few million.
