How does one make money with crypto by doing nothing? I'm talking copy-trading, bots, etc.
I'm cannot be bothered of finding new memecoins, i just want to do nothing. I dont care even if i give my crypto to some daytrader who trades on my behalf. I just want to do nothing...

Doing nothing would be buying btc and holding, copy trading requires to do things, algos always break and need tweaks

I underwrote a quarterly exposure note for BTCUSD for my clients trading some of my long lasting backtested edge, I push the tradingview alerts to blofin so everything is automated, I am waiting for them to allow tradingview webhooks for their coin-m futures (apparently they are working on it, right now I trade in USDT) meaning you'd always outperform BTC, combined with the quarterly compounding opportunity and it will probably work quite well. I can leave a contact email/disc/tg if you'd like? Pic related, backtested results going back to Nov but the strategy still beats our metrics when backtested all the way back to 2011.

Well it's unregulated activity and I have a personal relationship with each client so you would have all my dox, if I scammed you/breached terms of the contract you could open a legal case against me and due to the unregulated nature of it I wouldn't have a leg to stand on legally speaking. Also I could just push the webhook direct to your own blofin account (yes it is a reputable exchange, look into it) as an additional precaution if you were willing to burden counterparty risk, we could probably figure out a similar but different arrangement one where you just pay a subscription or something as oppose to handing over custody of assets. Either way I'm open to it if that's something that interests you.

also really the only "do nothing" thing in crypto is staking/yield farming.
the only work you have with that is self custody, picking the right farm/coin to stake and then all you have to do is literally just sitting around waiting.

I steered clear of /biz/ for so long that it feels weird to come back. But I randomly decided to come here today and I saw this post, talking about how OP can't be bothered to find new memecoins. Well that's wild because that's exactly how I've felt for months about this cycle. The last two cycles, I was running back and forth all day and with all time I could scrape together, hunting for the next gem and planning out exactly how I would plan my DCAs. But this cycle, I haven't really had an urge to go find new communities about crypto until now, I don't lurk somewhere every day to find the next gem and me and my friends aren't talking every day about what we'll do with all the money we'll win.

i can tell you how. one of my best moves ever was doing nothing. I got my first bitcoin at $3000. I clicked the button buy. Then I DID NOTHING up until now. and I'm at more than 33x for that position.
