I was here on the first day /biz/ started. It was a super slow board. I was a /pol/ addict and it was way too slow at the time to entertain me. I promptly went back to /pol/ for the next five years.

Cryptocurrency even in tech nerd circles was seen as a contentious issue and many /g/entoomen got buttblasted because about 10% of all threads on /g/ at one stage ended up being related to BTC in some way, shape, or form for a period of time there. Even from the very beginning of /biz/, threads relating to starting a business or career related threads were firmly in the minority.

You were not here when this board was new. This board was a crypto board from day 1. It was created to offload crypto talk from /g/. Obviously it is different now compared to 2017 but that's more in terms of quality and quantity of posts, memes, etc. Culture is garbage now, almost dead.
