So let's say your company buys "paper bitcoin", basically saying you'll purchase X amount of BTC at Y price from an exchange. And BTC just crabs along, never hitting Y price.

Your purchase of X BTC won't actually impact the real price of Bitcoin until/unless BTC hits Y price, correct? So all these companies trading paper bitcoin aren't necessarily impacting the price (until/unless their purchase price hits)?
