>>60603475We are quite literally describing a referee. They set and then enforce rules of a game. They don't play the game. You are asking for them to actively participate (constant redistribution). This obviously ruins the competition. And it's ironic because this is basically the schism between Europe/America right now. America let people continue to play the game (strong startup/small business/investment culture), while Europe picked its winners (zaibatsu style dinosaur corporations with no new growth). And so they don't grow.
I don't know why this truth is so painful for some people, it's all downstream of healthy competition. Keyword, competition.
