That asi's true brain in being formed through internet architecture, and blockchain is a prevalent component of it. They believe crypto as of now is in the lizard brain portion of its development. It's learned that snorting cocaine (mev) is fun and wants to keep doing it until the organism dies. They believe that Link is part of the limbic system and will force correct the cocaine binge to a healthy functioning. They believe once this is ready asi will take the seat and link transactions will take place as it thinks, which generates fees and makes linkies rich.

AI has been in use for decades but LLMs are a game changer. I work in a non-tech company that's on the cutting-edge (but not bleeding-edge) of augmenting our traditional ML work with LLMs and we're already getting huge direct value out of it. It'll be decades before the growth just from existing models gets totally extracted by the non-tech economy. I don't think we're getting ASI by 2027 or anything but it's definitely huge and the investment is justified.

I think AI is simultaneously the most useless invention of big tech for humanity so far and also the scariest one.

its gonna be huge. literal WEF tier 4th industrial revolution you'll own nothing and be happy automation is coming very soon. Manual labor is going to be a thing of the past in our lifetimes. They're not going to have enough jobs for people. There will be big societal upheaval or UBI is going to have to be a thing. And blockchain is the perfect medium for UBI to happen on. Get your ducks in a row now to profit off the coming automated future or your bloodline will suffer.

except it's already stagnant. we haven't seen a significant AI breakthrough in over a year, it's all just the same LLMs with slightly better UX and widgets.

There's going to be need for labor. Dirt cheap labor only. Labor where value of man is lower than value of machine. It's the beginning of the decline for mankind.

It’s a glorified search engine. NPCs in goldeneye 64 were AI. Computers just got better and banks needed a new buzzword to hype tech companies. The video and image stuff is cool though.

Musk said he thinks AI will be able to discover new technologies next year. Exciting times are ahead for all of us. There will be technologies that we never thought were possible, and some we never even considered.

Wrong. Its here to stay, like it or not. Just like steam, then electricity, then the PC, then the internet. Agentic AI and Real World models are the game changers here. Eventually your ID, your health records, your finances, your legal status, your hopes and dreams will be in a soul-bound NFT encrypted into the blockchain. It will be good/ it will be bad. Security will be paramount and highly sought after. You own your data; you protect your data.
In that time, off-grid will generally mean living between the blocks, which will become increasingly difficult as the computing becomes faster, never at rest.

For all the retards saying that AI would kill software devs, they are going to be more empowered than ever before.

With AI, it's feasible to run a larger companies with less staff... even running a company completely solo.

This is immense power, especially as we are entering the narrative of AI agents replacing donkey work on the PC. Technologists always win.

>they are going to be more empowered than ever before

The only thing they'll be empowered to do is to start their own business, but since everyone will have to start their own business, the competition will be impossibly fierce, especially as a few companies absorb almost all of the market share.

Face reality: 95% of people will require UBI to survive.

Grow up retard
Why do you idiots not realize capital goods will also come down in price, thus making starting a business extremely easy?

UBI is retarded. Just let the market function to bring down prices

>What does /biz/ think of AI?
Mostly AI slop, anon. Every project is slapping AI on their whitepaper for VC funding. 99% of it is buzzword garbage. The only actual AI agent play I'm even bothering to look at is when it's natively baked into an L1 for actual automation, like Supra's AutoFi. Otherwise, it's just more ways to lose money.

You are coping hard. I have limited programming experience. With Claude Code I can churn out multiple thousand line applications in 30 minutes that work, and have no critical bugs. I've made trading bots, scrapers, entire crypto platforms. Just for fun. In the hands of a professional developer, you can fire all of the people underneath you.
