Because they can buy it in an ETF through their 401k. Not everybody wants to piss around with self-custody, not your keys not your coins, seed phrases and all that shit. For all it's decentralised, ultra-encrypted, fuck the banks chypherpunk origins, owning actual bitcoin is a proper hassle. If you buy shares in a bitcoin-related instrument someone else takes care of all that for you. Something happens to your broker, or your account gets hacked, you still have protection and recourse that means that you won't lose your money.
As for why buy at this price, the price is just a number. The same could be said at any price along the way, and for any security at all. Why buy Nvidia at 163? The answer is because line goes up, that's all there is to it.

Whole bricks already transacting through tether, western markets, index funds and you name it cant see whats happening, basically whole block deals are hidden and western market is no longer accurate on prices. Faster US catches up with stablecoins - the better.
