When will normgroids stop to contemplate the fact that the thing they were told was a stupid scam for 20 years is not only real but the best investment of their lifetimes?

In all likelihood, BTC will keep outperforming the stock market over the next 10+ years. Sure, there are no more easy 100X's to be made, but it's still better than any alternative.

I don't see the point in btc..."wow another 2x by 2029!" Nobody buys crypto for a measly 2-3x, we need 20-100x.

get the fuck outta here, this shit will dump an enormous amount (-70%) as usual and the only way this is a "great investment" now is to buy the bottom and hope it goes up again. Anyone buying now is a moron.

He's right, people buy real assets for stable returns, crypto and bitshit is nothing but a glorified ponzi and if the returns aren't high (10X+) then why take the risk of holding it

Which high-interest savings account for my $100k pays more than Bitcoin doing a 2x?

Still great returns compared to the stock market doing 7% per year.

>>60604765
Those dumps will diminish more and more as institutions get on board. There's a good chance the 4-year cycle has already come to an end.

>>60604770
Because BTC is a relatively novel asset-class specifically designed as a store of value in a high-inflation environment, which we are most definitely in and not getting out of any time soon. As it stands, BTC-exposure among normies is still low compared to stocks, meaning more growth potential as adoption continues.

its not, oldfags still dont understand the effects of institutional adoption at this level. hedge funds, state governments, and normies will buy up any dips faster than ever before.

at this point its a detriment to have traded crypto a long time and expect certain cycles. your learned pattern recognition is for an entirely different landscape that no longer exists

the sheer volume of cash institutions can apply to the market is important and - by theory - should lead to price stability. the issue is how intelligent their reactions are and which competing interests they have to balance again. I think it is still too soon to say that institutionalization has normalized the big cycle. it does appear to have reduced short-term price fluctuations though.

Has it ever occurred to you that not everyone is going to get rich doing jack shit? Like that's a fucking pipe dream to have any known asset produce that kind of gain. You'd have better odds going to a roulette wheel.

The people that made stupid money with Bitcoin were the ones willing to take it seriously as an asset. Now people take it seriously. People are already watching crypto. You'd need to find something crazy and totally outside that space to ever see that fuckload of a gain
