Bitcoin is not controlled by any single entity. Not even Saylor. Let alone 'scammers'. The cycle is also not a 'scam' but by nature of the asset a given.
Bitcoin eats up all value on the planet by keeping its own value and increasing it depending on how much more all the other stuff is getting devalued/devalues itself.
That doesn't mean that whales and changes don't have their fun eating up free money from futures gamblers. There's only so much you can do before the asset breaks you upwards.
