The only people in my entire extended family who are doing well financially are those where the man controls all the finances, in every other relationship/family where the woman is in control of the finances, their situation is financial destitution.

But you will be called an "abuser" if you don't let the woman control the finances... I hear this in any situation where the man controls the families finances

Now if you put the stats right, 85% of women controlling a household finances... that leaves 15% of men doing it..... that pretty much explains why only a very small % of households are doing well financially, while the rest are 1 bad event away from financial ruin and are set-up permanently for future financial destitution, which keeps you slaving away, just like the system wants you to be.....no wonder there's so much propaganda against men controlling finances...

My dad is low IQ but he was always against every signal financial decision my mom made, but he always cucked out and let her do whatever she wanted because "ok shut up and do whatever, I can't be bothered hearing you complain about it"

Now their financial situation in their old age is fucked because of things my mom wanted.

For example. They had a perfectly good home in the 1990's. My mom wanted to knock it down and build a McMansion. My dad was against it, he was perfectly fine with keeping the original home they bought, but he gave in and just let my mom have what she wanted.

They ended up way overbuilding, going way over what they could even afford to pay.

Their mortgage went from being like $200/month to $2500/month after the build was done. They eventually got FORECLOSED on because they weren't able to afford the repayments.

Now they're renters in their old age. Why? Because my mom wanted a huge McMansion build, something my Dad NEVER wanted but he was not in control of their finances.

If my dad stood his ground and told my mom to STFU and that they're not knocking down their home to build a McMansion, they would still be home owners today in their old age, with millions in equity (the old original homes in their street still sell for millions)

I own my own home (no mortgage) in my 30's.

My sister is also in her 30's, shes basically a copy-paste of my mom, and she controls the finances of her marriage, and guess what? She and her Husband are PERMA-rentoids who overspent so much to the point where they no longer even have any chance of saving up a deposit for a house, let alone ever buying a house.

Why? Because my sister controls their finances, and always has, for the last 10 years, and she is an extremely reckless spender. In 2015 she got married, and they spent $60,000 on a wedding. I told her she should put that kind of money for a deposit on a HOME, and she ignored me.... she lost her chance to be a home owner because she wanted a big wedding.... $60,000 in 2015 was a huge amount for a deposit on a decent family home.


When I explained this to my sister and told her I would NEVER let a woman control my finances, she said.....
