Honestly is it ever worth buying options more than a couple weeks out? If it starts moving against you you're fucked anyways and the premiums are always retarded high especially for anything that ever moves. Plus things crab so often you're really just hoping it decides to run a bit in the short term.

Seems I have a lot better luck with weeklies rather than any time I k try and go months out.

I am on a DCA plan to buy on the first of every month, and i told myself that for every 10% drawdown in the market I will add an extra month's worth.

Unless the market crashes I will be "all in" around Christmas time.

Feel free to buy until then, it will only crash after I make the final purchase.

Steroids.

Also, i think you need to push your muscles to the "breaking point", you want your muscles to get micro-damaged, and then heal, thats how they bulk.

But mainly steroids, theyre all juicing.

That's the problem. You need to eat a calorie surplus, and make sure you have enough protein to build muscle.
If you're an average man try to eat at least 2600 calories, if not 3000.

Is this a sign to buy bonds?

I wouldn't touch them because I think yields will naturally go higher.
But I also think the Fed will intervene and put a ceiling on yields.

In any case I'm not getting involved.

I recently bought some AVWS alongside VWCE and so far it's doing great: it goes up more on good days, and goes down more on bad days

They have zero overlap, both are worldwide and derive returns from different sources.

I was looking for extra risk, volatility and returns over a long period, without having exposure into a specific country or sector, and without leverage.
Therefore it's perfect and performs exactly how I wanted.

This is for my 90% of my portfolio which is broad index funds and NEVER SELL territory. The other 10% is for gambling but I can't find anything worth gambling on right now.

Lads:
Around March I began looking up this investing thingy. Four months have passed and I have read a bunch of book (all the reading list on If You Can: How Millenials Can Get Rich Slowly) and began with The Intelligent Investor.

I have also made a crude portfolio goal of
>35% Euro stocks (no UK) as I'm an Europoor
>10% Euro bonds
>7,5% Euro small caps
>30% S&P 500
>7,5% USA small caps
>5% global mining
>5% emerging markets

I initially dumped a stack into the S&P to see how it feels. Now I have to play catch-up with all other items until they're balanced. For this purpose I'll be directing 20% of my earnings there as soon as I get them.

I have also a sandbox set aside with a smaller slice of my NW, and the rule there is that any addition there must be "taxed" by a 133.33...% contribution to the main portfolio. The idea being that sure, I can gamble, but only as long as I'm willing to save hard AND be willing to deprive myself of other non primary expenses.

I would appreciate /smg/'s feedback on this.

ok so Im not asking for spoonfeeding boys, I have 0% in any precious metals, but can you go into more detail

I know that it's extremely conductive, and solar panels use a fuckton of it at 15-25 ounces for their contacts. EVs use a ton too, so it's a no brainer that as all this EV shit takes off, the price should go up....

...but, I see that as a steady climb over the next 10-20 years. As for now, how is it shorted, how is it being manipulated. what catalyst is going to shake up the status quo specifically?

I run the wheel so W/L is always really high in the long term. Been selling SOXL options lately. Usually aim for 20 Delta options 1-1.5 weeks from expiry. I'll hedge if a hedge option is cheap but usually I'll just use options to pin. Haven't had too much of an issue, at 20 Delta it takes a sizable move down before assignment is on the table.

8% today
11% week

most from sept calls on USIO finally showing some signs of strength, also a mix of my defense tickers getting new contracts.

surprise was my SDST play, I found them through their broker dealer, Aegis capital.
don't buy any ticker associated with Aegis for long term holding. But since SDST just got their first private placement from Aegis, figured they'll at least get one pump, and it happened after hours. Now I'll just put a stop loss and what happens happens, not expecting anything outside of a monday pump, any company that Aegis touches eventually goes to near zero, but with a few bumps in the chart so they can sell off the shares, get their commission, then usually the price slowly or quickly craters. every single chart of every single company outside of one lone success story looks the same, exponential slope to zero with a few bumps.

Really its fascinating once ya look behind the curtain of some of these smallcap broker dealers, they have 20+ finra violations, and most of the companies they deal out are unprofitable buzzword tickers. Reminds me of the business that Jordan Belfort ran in Wolf of Wall Street, they just play by the rules a bit more so they don't get shut down.

Powell is not resigning anyway. The adminstration isngas lighting and lying to create confusion and spectacle.
What you note is very important about the fed chair. Getting rid of Powell early or waiting till his term ends next year changes nothing besides one vote on the board. Doesn't matter who Trump puts in his place. The head of the Fed does not set rates on their own. The board works together to set rates. This fact has been purposefully left out of all administration and media narratives.

My IP has been changing since I was driving and mobile posting. But yeah, lower value stock prices are better than higher price ones. Options prices do go up with stock price, but not at an even pace. SOXL is great because it's leveraged which bakes in volatility + it's comparatively low priced. You can sell 40 $25 strike puts with 100k. And if SOXL dips you can turn around and sell a near ATM call option unless it blows all the way down to 5 delta strike prices, and ATM calls print money.
>It'll turn against you!

Low ER mutual funds around .015 or ETFs at .03.

It can work if you have 40 years.

I agree though, a lot of the posts ask how they can retire on 50 million dollars and what tax strategy they can use.

Still though, for a young person started early, it's a solid plan.

I understand your post. SPY is for trading though, VOO, IVV, or FXAIX.

You guys are retarded. This is obviously them trying to pressure Powell into resigning by putting out a rumor that he's considering doing so.
JPow has consistently said he intends to serve until the end of his tenure. There's no reason for him to resign and this retarded "muh 1.6 billion r renovation" is just another smear attack to muck rake any reason at all to pressure him to resign.
Trump can seethe about interest rates until the end of JPows term, then he'll appoint the next guy only to bitch when the rest of the fed chairs continue to vote to keep rates high or just barely lower them at best.

Again, I understand you post. Making more money is better.

Start with the basics.

Emergency fund
Tax advantaged retirement plans- 401K or Roth IRA.
Dollar cost averaging and living below your means.

Hope you are healthy and live to retire.

I had no means growing up. Some basic stuff like this helped out.

It is the stress. I had something similar happen myself. I took a sleeping pill rather than deal with it. Slept about 12 hours. In that time I had two dreams:
>dream one I was in a basement fighting this giant spider and I managed to survive
>dream two a repeat of dream one but this time the basement lights were off. I managed to get that fucking spider good. Stabbed it over and over. It was the size of a horse lying down. it was like I had to do this all again at higher difficulty.

So yes the stress of losing lots of money really sucks.

either the risk is too much, or you dont understand enough about your holdings to be more confident

people who own $500K+ houses, it's basically like owning $500K of a single stock where you get dividends (equivalent to rent money) every month
people dont panic because of how they understand their asset
the same is true with stock, whether that comes with understanding the fundamentals, or being retarded and not understanding the risk they put themselves in. The 200iq and 50iq person, both can make huge gains, while the 100iq midwit just matches SPY gains

>d3+k2 (taking this decreases auto immune reactions and studies have shown it works even better taking it long term, like for years)
>quercetin w/ bromelain (the second part there just makes the antioxidant absorbed better and while there are many antioxidants I've found quercetin helps me)
>ox bile (mixed results for me depending on brand, but it may help decrease GI inflammation) Note: I don't take this now. The drug I'm on (Stelara) increases liver enzymes, proving there is a connection.

After games got shitty and computers got sufficiently efficient and powerful, I kinda stopped looking to build my own PC. Newegg fell off my radar because of that.

These days I run a rugged laptop. It runs what I want fine (along with the old games), plus the display is bright enough to use outdoors, which I'm finding is so useful that I bring the laptop everywhere and use the phone as a hotspot. If I recall correctly, it's about 1400 nits of brightness. The hotswap batteries are a big plus too.

Wait, I'll add this one. A patient is basically a consumer, so this is a fitting analogy:

>The CFPBโ€™s funding limit, which is adjusted each year for inflation, is $823 million for the 2025 fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30, according to the Congressional Research Service. (It has risen from $598 million in 2013.)

>With a 6.5% cap, the CFPBโ€™s funding would have been maxed out at $446 million this year, a roughly 46% reduction.

>Chi Chi Wu, director of consumer reporting and data advocacy at the National Consumer Law Center, said a slimmer budget would likely mean greater challenges with policing financial firms, especially large institutions.

>"It takes a lot of resources to go after the big dogs,โ€ Wu said.

>โ€œIt was already David and Goliath,โ€ she said. โ€œThis just makes the situation worse. Now you have half a David.โ€

>The CFPB didnโ€™t return a request for comment.

>Same watchdog duties, less money
>The CFPB has three primary functions, Wu said: enforcement of laws on the books; supervising financial firms (kind of like a bank examiner, but with a consumer protection mission); and fielding consumer complaints.

>The agency recouped $21 billion in relief for more than 205 million consumers since its inception, according to CFPB data as of Dec. 3.

>Over that time it had imposed more than $5 billion of penalties on financial firms and fielded about 7 million consumer complaints, the majority of which were about credit reports, according to agency data.

There will only be deregulation. You will be at the mercy of companies. And you shall have none.

The correct approach would be to tell those companies to punish them and tell them how to behave and if they don't they won't be allowed to do business in "the greatest shop of the world". Basically the same argument Trump has for tariffs. But for whatever reason, he does not do it for the american companies. Why? He does not care about the american people.

Most of these things are consumption, they vanish, they become part of you, only to leave you again in a different state. Funko Pops are an investment. Funko Pops are eternal.

I have held sofi for years and it just started to pay off. i missed the pltr and hood train and i'll be damn if i miss this ride. its currently running because it has so many things going for it. BBB, rate cuts, following robinhood by doing crypto and allowing users to access private markets and high short interest currently at 14%. I see this bitch blowing pass $45 even though sofi bagholders are looking at $23 or $30 max.

The only viable strategy for retail investors is buy-and-hold, as to day-to-day operations you are literally just an ignorant goy sitting outside the boardroom where world elites and banks determine the prices of shares and what will be bought and sold. Over the short and medium-term the market is completely rigged and I'm sure that despite all the regulations insider trading and tip-offs govern 98% of big transactions.
