I know about 16 people in real life who have been into crypto since 2017. None of them have made a substantial amount of money trading or holding crypto. The pattern is consistent among all these investors. They lose 90% of their investment for about 4-5 years only to eventually recover and talk themselves out of selling around a 70% increase on their initial. They usually buy more around this time and lose 90% again. We're currently about 2 years from them breaking even again. I gave up on this bullshit in 2021 and just buy penny stocks now.
