when Saylor presses the equity print button and issues shares he is "diluting" existing shareholders but this does not matter because he uses that money to buy more BTC but if MSTR would trade at 1x NAV then you are just moving money around and not doing anything if you are doing it below 1x NAV you actually ARE diluting shareholders (stealing) because you can only generate BTC yield when there is a premium to NAV when issuing equity
so why would you buy MSTR instead of just BTC? well you get "some" btc in the NAV component and you get a BTC yield projected into the future also if you want to speculate mNAV usually expands massively in a bull market and you are already leveraged because of the debt position
