I guess same reason why they're buying cbBTC or other wrapped tokens on Base; convenience of buying it on Base and then being able to stake the LP, etc.

When you finally make it with LTC you will have to find a way to sell your millions. CEXes can steal it from you, so your only way is to have them on a DEX to swap them instantly with no limits.
