It is INSANE how much better Bitcoin is than the financial system. I can send ANY amount of money (provided I own them) to ANYONE instantly (lightning network) at ANY time (even on weekends and Christmas). Bitcoin strikes fear into the heart of the banker.

Noooo you have to let the [redacted] create money out of thin air then loan it to you with interest and let them make more whenever they want you can't just have a fixed amount of a digital currency the [redacted] don't control

Did you just wake up from a coma? Everyone already knows, and almost all networks do it faster and cheaper.

yeah. I;ve had a bank account with the same bank for 20 years since I was 18 never had any other checking account. they know my entire history, never missed a payment or gone negative. Have kept around $10k in the checking for about 10 years. Have made countless wire transfers over the years.

Just last week I tried to wire 25,000 to pay my landlord for 6 months of rent upfront with a discount,

"sorry your daily limit of 10,000 has been reached"

next day

"sorry your daily WEEKLY limit has been reached of $20,000"

cost me $70 to do this and I still had to ZELLE the remaining $5k

it's always some bullshit like that. in 2020 during the off roading craze I found a 1989 jeep YJ for $11,000 in amazon condition. I went to the bank to get about $9,000 and I had the rest of the cash already. I told them what it was for, I showed them the listing on Facebook marketplace and our chat. I told them I would bring the guy to the branch parking lot to talk to them.

nope. Sorry. we can't give you the cash. You have to wait a week, call this number. suspicious.

I was 31 at the time.

What a waste of trips. Bitcoin grew up, btw. It isn't any of the things you mentioned. Try to keep up with the current narrative.

You forgot the part where you need to go back at the end of the year and calculate when you bought which coins and when and how much of them you sold and which purchased coins correspond to which sends/purchases. Miss me with that gay shit.

My bank has decided to start charging me $5 per month as an "account service fee".
They are charging me money, for the money I lend to them, by depositing into a savings account. They make money off my deposits, pay next to zero interest, then have the audacity to charge me a fee for this "service".
Bitcoin charges me zero fees, and doesn't fade away through inflation.
It's clearly the better option

>paying your landlord 6 months of rent upfront for a discount at 25k
>have only kept 10k in checking for about 10 years

At least make your larp consistent. Standard renting ratio 2.5 * rent. Given that you only have around 10k in your bank account you don't make enough money to afford 4k in rent every month even with a discount.
