I have almost 200k on coinbase. Would their credit card be worth it?

Sucks. I think my 2% back on every card mixed with my 3% back on travel card combo is better

Thats nice until coinbase fucks you over and changes your limit from 350 per day to 0 and you have to wait 2 weeks for it to reset.

Thats a good mindset to have goy, make sure you dont pay off that loan early! It might hurt your goy score.

Just get the robinhood card. 3% back on everything and 5% on their travel service. Plus all the gold account benefits.

This. Coinbase is way too unreliable to function as a primary issuer of credit. Im on the record of saying that when i use my debit card to buy bitcoin larger than 300 dollars they restrict my account limit to 0 and tell me to wait next week before buying more.

Also ACH is a complete joke and ive never had a successful ACH transfer when using them. On the flip side with kraken their ACH transfers clear within 3 days.

Youll get fucked if you mainly use coinbase.

Have they released their terms yet? I thought they weren't going to publish numbers until the fall when it goes live.
It could be decent, but you'll need to run the numbers and see what the true percentage is after you account for the membership fee.
I am heavily going to consider it.

Why are you fucking with just $300 and using a debit card? I signed up with Ally and linked it to Coinbase (because I don't want to link my primary bank accounts with Coinbase, I'm not that dumb) and I have no problem instantly moving up to $15k at a time, but I usually just DCA about $3k a month.

ACH transfers are always a bitch, no matter who you're going between. I hope it gets worked out soon, but you'll need to wait for business days; it's the weekend in burgerland.

My account is pretty old and im remembering that was before they used plaid to setup direct ACH transfers where you had to enter your direct routing and account number.

Since kraken uses plaid and ACH works fine there, i might need to repeat the process with coinbase and set it up with plaid. Ridiculous if you ask me when their customer service team that uses A.I. (Actually indians) couldnt help me figure that out

why do you even need to borrow money if you have 200k on goybase?

I have a robinhood account to gamble on options so I got one because they wouldn't stop bombarding me with ads in the app. Turns out its actually a pretty great card. I only had like $2500 on that brokerage at the time so I don't think there's an amount to hold with them. Approval was instant, no wait list or anything (but maybe because I had an account already idk). Requires an annual gold membership which is $50/yr but I've made more than that in the benefits.

>sams club for sams club beer cigs and gas
>us bank card for utilities and streaming
>citi custom cash for restraunts
>discover it and chase freedom flex for rotating categories which can free up custom cash for something else
>4 other cards for the 2% blanket but mainly because they were early cards or intro bonus farms
I also have a coinbase debit card that hasnt seen any use in years because they cucked out on the rewards. Really the only thing not covered by anything is rent and that's because my landlord requires me to deposit the money directly into his bank account and i don't know a way to do that with a credit card

My score is 800. You never close a card. It effects your age of credit and available credit. Issuers may close it if it is inactivate, so just make sure to buy a dollar of gas twice a year on any card that isnt being normally used. Opening is a credit inquiry so it temporarily lowers it, but if you're new to credit cards ita best to apply for multiple cards at the same time because you only get dinked once if it's within a few days. Also use the intro offers to your advantage. You may have a handful of cards you want, but most the offers are for spending x ammount in a few months so do the math and make sure you'll actually spend that much with each card you're getting otherwise just wait 6+months to get more.
