>>60618257 (OP)what you want to do is get your hands on a full year's worth of price change test data
keep it simple to start.
Get this set up on just 1 stock ticker symbol or crypto-USD. So, get your fat ass over to finance.yahoo.com and figure out if it lets you download daily closing values for a full year. it might be 12 monthly csv downloads at worst, I don't remember. Also, it might make you pay to download data. get it somewhere free since you're poor.
now, if you also have a job in an office in America, then you might have Office 365. It's pretty common, I think. Or maybe I just have a Chad job (I don't).
Get into the Teams or SharePoint websites and figure out how your existing Office 365 license lets you use Power Apps or Power Automate.
They are both pretty easy to mess around with if you are not completely retarded. They also should have Copilot built into them unless your company's IT locked it out. If you do have it, you can ask that fucker everything and it'll walk you through stuff step-by-step like you're 5. I recommend a simple Power Automate flow that would monitor a folder for a file, read it, and do something with each line on that file.
Once you get that working, test it with your full year of data and see what happens. I got a flow working the other day that sends me an email anytime someone makes a change to a shared file on Teams. Sneaky marketing faggots changing numbers and not telling anybody and they won't let me (only FP&A person) lock everything down
