Instead of trying to correct people's reasoning, I think, the time of convincing is over, stay poor
Sometimes I visit /r/buttcoin as a sort of schadenfreude zoo, I don't engage with them, I just find joy in seeing them stay confidently wrong and cocky. I know it ends in suffering for them, and I leave them to it.

Got drunk as fuck once with my girlfriend's wealthy housemate. Talked for like 30 mins about crypto at 4am--specifically Bitcoin--and how it isn't going anywhere. I suggested he ignore everything else and stick with Bitcoin. This was in ~2021 when BTC was like $40k.
