Every time a serious thread pops up on biz with a good question (ie asking for online entrepreneur ideas that actually work and aren't already hypersaturated), it's always met with a few measly replies if any at all. Not only that, but it's always the same repetitive bot reply bullshit ie "kneepads" or "learn a trade bro" or "just buy btc bro". Always non-serious and frankly a waste of time, kinda like youtube.

Why is this? Are the successful (keeping the real answers a secret) really that selfish and would rather lead their audience off a cliff with endless gaslighting? And that makes them feel good somehow? What a sad sad world we live in.

Right now I'm looking into roof maintenance and treatment using drones. There you go. You can also sell AI fetish images with Anime characters (find something niche that you like) on Patreon, DeviantArt etc. I did it and earned a nice extra, I could have made a living from it if I had taken it seriously. Because entrepreneurship is mostly a meme. You can make some money, but if you don't already have 10-15 years of tradie experience, or highly specialized skills and clients you can steal from former employers, or innate drive to compete with the million other people doing the same thing out there, you're not really going to do anything.
Its a rigged game, and anyone who carved out or found a niche isn't really going to help you since it'd be at their own expense. That's just the sad reality we live in.

I was a car dealer for quite a while. It was stressful at times. I sold the place and have a regular job. Being self employed isnt that great. People say shit like you are your own boss, but really your customers are the boss

The real answer is various government organizations, intelligence agencies, and political opponents of the typical user here have captured all of the moderator positions and don't allow for self improvement threads of any kind. They also use bots and paid posters to disrupt threads with valuable information.

Its a long running organized demoralization campaign to keep people who fit "wrong-think" categories suppressed. They are also hoping you migrate to more mainstream social media platforms that they have more control over.

Especially those with detailed actionable information. This change slowly started in 2019, increased after 2021, and was solidified in 2024.

It used to be a lot of fun here but with informative threads on a wider range of topics. Still mostly crypto heavy but you could find multiple threads per day worth posting in.

Now there are none. The only value left is just jokes and shit posting.

You just get your thread deleted and banned if you effort post. People just stopped trying. I saw this happen many times and was in those types of threads over the years.

The power structures of the world don't want certain types people to have the ability to make money online as an independent entrepreneur. It makes you are sovereign, free, and more a of liability.

Good news there are many sources online to find the type of information you seek but I'll say talking to someone who replies to your questions directly about industries they personally succeeded in is a huge benefit.

Many of those threads were enjoyable to read regardless if you were going to act on their advice or not
