what kind of people do you socialize with? how important is networkmaxxing to making it? some retards here claim it's nothing
I am tired of hanging around the bottom scraps of society, people who are terminally locked into wagism 4 life, drug addicts, wagies, neets, social rejects, drop outs
I can't be around these people anymore, I have to escape, I have to GET. OUT.
I cannot discuss useless normies shit anymore with no focus on how to make more money, escape this shit
I need business minded people and moneymaxxers
I am isolated and secluded surrounded by retards
not only that but these people will actively drag you down into shit to, mentally and spiritually
have you escaped them?

Discussing doesn't matter, doing it is important. And business minded people are mostly feral. Not as feral as people who got rich with some scam, but still. It doesn't get better, but you can use the other people as a tool.

My job requires me to interact with successful or aspiring to be successful people a lot, and they're unironically the most uninteresting, bland, people you could imagine. Literally like the board meeting in American Psycho.

Networking is hugely important if you're actively involved in some sort of business, but if you're trying to make it by yourself by investing in stocks, crypto etc... it's completely inconsequential and honestly not worth it.

I personally find much more enjoyment talking to literal deadbeat hippies at raves etc even if I have nothing in common with them and am doing quite alright for myself.

"Socializing" is for midwits at best.
You need zero (0) people to make money trading.
You also need to be better than a midwit to make money trading.

Connect the dots.

Your network does indeed matter imo. My wife and I are very successful, but wouldn’t have been nearly as successful without our friends.
If you are trying to improve your friend group, you should probably move to a city. You have to put yourself in a place where lots of the people you want to attract will be hanging out.

>network = networth
you should read; who not how (dan sullivan)

I think for the majority of people, networking is simply a natural and automatic system that works for their craft / mission

For us (mostly autists), it's an active and forced endeavor

I sense your desperation, and I can empathize with it.

>work remotely with techies who are 96% supercharged normies with no sense of humor, or disgusting bootlickers. And yes it's literally 4 per 100 employees who have a soul.
>family is a bunch of hoarding retards who are clever but refuse to self improve
>dropped all my 2 friends cus they were negative and energy drainer who did nothing but consoom and think everything is black and white

The best luck I've had at making stellar connections has been in Math/Physics at Universities. Business people can be interesting too, once you get past the marketing crowd and to the business developers/restructure-ers

obviously no connection is better than bad connection. I knew this one guy who recently described his bpd on fb and to me it sounded like being poor around rich assholes or even middle class assholes. When I'm doing even half okay I can tolerate assholes but when I'm down they just shit on me so fuck them

I could be wrong but it's possible a huge chunk of "normies" are autists I mean they don't understand basic things like sarcasm, are total NPCs, and fail hard at being people people. Most of the time when people are talking instead of working, they aren't saying things cool people would say. They are saying really stupid things you would never imagine yourself saying and not just bc it sounds really fake

I don't think they discuss MAKING money. They're more about PURCHASES.

idk being poor around rich people sucks. You try to downplay it. They could help but if you even bother asking they may treat you like you're crazy bc they are so out of touch or flat out greedy. But all assholes drag you down, ruin shit, and then attack you n shit for the exact shit they ruined and of course won't admit it. The whole world is as good as positive people can make it and as bad as negative people can make it. It's an actual competition almost between good and evil bc one side is literally shitting up everything

Most of my friends are younger. We're all zogbots. One is a good dude but I pushed him away by being flakey and always drunk. Others pushed me away because they got in relationships. Another I kind of just don't like as a person, he still drinks, which is whatever but he gets violent and crazy when he drinks. One month sober from alcohol and a week totally sober from kratom after tapering off of it, with a bunch of days of horrible withdrawal. Right now, just trying to stay in my own lane and work on myself. Have one friend I go to lunch with because I'm trying to help the kid get his life in order before he gets out. That's about it honestly. Sorry for the blog post. Also I'm the only one of us that I know has investments.

It hasn't ever helped directly financially but it definitely encourages you to keep getting better and makes real success seem much more achievable when you're surround by it constantly. I have to agree with >>60632296. Any interaction with them feels so transactional there's really no point. I'm not close enough to them to ask for a favor, they're not close enough to me to ask me for a favor. It feels like when a politician goes door to door asking for your vote. I've found my current network to be much more lucrative even though it's filled with less successful people because there's genuine investment from both sides since we both actually care about each other and aren't just being performative for networking's sake.

I had no friends since the last day of high school. Even then, the only common thing with my friends was the fact we studied together. That was the only occasion we visited each other - to study for an exam.
Since then I only socialized with my siblings and my older brother's friends (like once a year when he dragged me somewhere). This got even worse since the coof. Right now the closest thing I got to friends are my coworkers that I see only twice a week.
Most of the fault for this situation is on me. I never even attempt to keep friends. Most of the time a potential friend is just a dumbass who I have nothing in common with. I prefer to spend time alone than to be in the company of annoying idiots. If I could have interesting friends then that would be nice I guess.

This, if all you talk about all the time is work then you're a wagie, simple as, doesn't matter if you make 300k. Shut the fuck up nobody cares.
Also successful people always try to drag you to expensive restaurants and bars, fuck you just because I have 7 digits in crypto doesn't mean I'm going to waste $100 on a restaurant visit or $15 on a cocktail. I'd match rather get some pizza and a glass of the house wine with my low income friends.

The majority of people is stupid as fuck. Schopenhauer correctly asserted that extrovert and social people are like that because their minds are empty and they NEED people around to distract themselves from their own NPC souls.

Nothing a NPC fears more than boredom. They fear boredom more than pain. Actually they barely feel pain in the whole sense of the word (the "pain" of the poets). Autistics, on the other side, are full of it.

How do you arrive at this conclusion? What's your reasoning?

It aligns with a high fraction of the people I know irl, but there are other aspects to it.

People with friends, and who worship suburbia and their jobs (aka normies) can have high and low IQs.

Surely low IQ people can be quiet, shy, loners too. Right?
