BTC= Store of value, OG
ETH=king of defi, staking APY
XMR=undisputed king of dark finance, actually has significant real world usage despite attempts to delist

Everything else is basically pointless. That includes stuff like KAS being ultra fast. Just no one cares that transactions take a few minutes (or seconds in defi), so unless something completely new and genuinely groundbreaking comes along, it's basically going to be the three at the top that becomes the staple top 1/2/3. Litecoin genuinely has nothing going for it outside of the fact it's an old project that improved marginally upon Bitcoin. Now the market has moved past any realistic chance of there ever being retail FOMO for litecoin.
