Interest rates are the reward for saving money. Why would you save money if it pays you nothing? Why would you lend money if it gives you nothing? Zero interest rate means nobody saves and invests and instead just consume. Supply needs investment/savings. Zero interests means zero investment.
Now, think about this anon. What happens when supply goes down while demand goes up? The mother of all inflations is what you get.
