Jerome Powell will resign and the Trump regime will install their puppet. Interest rates will go to 0 and this will restart the bull run. Everyone's expecting the bear by EOY, but this move will kickstart the fabled crypto supercycle going all the way to 2030. Why? Because there will be no more rate hikes, they will keep rates at 0 for YEARS.
Your cash savings and purchasing power will inflate to nothing.
This is highway robbery by the rich against the poor. Normoids and CT haven't caught on yet. Be prepared.

You're missing the bigger picture. Trump's people know that firing Powell will ruin faith in the bond markets. He claims he wants cheaper borrowing but in fact he wants no borrowing, and it's no surprise that he just pushed a bill that requires more borrowing than ever before. With the US unable to borrow any money, the GOP will finally have the cover they need to completely eliminate Medicaid, SNAP, and most of the federal government outside of the military and law enforcement. That's the end game.

Government spending is a third of our GDP, so there's no question that almost immediately after government spending drops to 0, so will consumer spending. The only sectors likely to be safe are military, tech, and possibly real estate. Expect a total collapse everywhere else.

I forgot to mention energy will also probably skyrocket since it's one of the few fields genuinely hamstrung by government regulations and restrictions (which will either go away or be unenforced) and is also one of the few areas where basing a business off of exporting internationally is actually financially viable. Other highly regulated fields such as air travel rely on domestic consumer demand in a way that energy does not.
