I feel like this sometimes. I am like most everyone who has a 4 year degree in CS. I got the job at 22 and have been working toward the first promotion which realistically gets you about 325k a year starting average minimum. I studies hard in school and worked hard in general so I have some money to look foward to to invest nad buy a house with. It can be frustrating because there is a lot of work. It;s worth it though since realistically the aveage TC minum is around 500k since you get SWE 4 or 5 after a few years working as a software devloper which I got after mmy 4 year degree (like most everyone) .
