Idg these kinds of threads. We all did basically the same thing. 4 year CS (coding degree) followed by getting a coding (software dev) job where we get average MINIIMUM TC starting at about 200 to 250k a year annually. It is pretty straight foward. Everything usese software so there is work everywhere for this, the fact is that with the 4 year developer degree youy can make upwards of about 500-600k a year TC after becoming a SWE 4 or 5 which most people do in a couple years. You just get that job with the starting TC of about 250k and then get the promotion to the higher TC of about 500k within about 3 years? I think it could be sooner for some but the TC can be pretty good in most cases.
