Lel Americans.
1. These are underestimated numbers. That's just income tax. There are hundreds of taxes. Most aren't called taxes. Inflation for example. Or the money you pay for the tax consultant. And the hours you need to read and adapt taxation and laws to your situation. That's free government work, they just release insufficient products.

2. Free healthcare costs EUR 1100 per month in Germany. They just divide it by half on your invoice, the rest is hidden from you (they say "paid by the employer" lel, surrogate daddy).

>Pay $1000 a month for Insurance
>Get injured
>Insurance says you now have to pay $7500 yourself before they start paying
>Pay the $7500
>Insurance now denies your claim saying you didn't really need the medical care.
>Insurance now charges you $1250 a month claiming your now a health risk
>People deal with this and think it's fine.

Top income tax rate alone is a pretty worthless piece of information. Does it start at 100k yearly income or $1 million? Also if you add up the top federal US tax rate (37%) and the top state tax (>10% for several states like New York or California) you arrive at similarly large numbers.

>average top personal income tax rate
this is 0,1% of peoples income tax rate map you retarded nigger.
top 0,1% does not get salary and are taxed in other tax pracets that is much lower.
anything stock/crypto/realestate related is not taxed by these precentages and most profits have tax deductions.(((If you want some part taxed by these tax rates you can. and that can lower your total tax paid meaningfully if living off investments and making like 100-200k€ /year)))
No one who would pay 50% is paying over 28% in my country because of how they just rotate money from tax to another. this actually takes like 15 mins ones and after that you are all set for rest of the year. 28% is hardcap if you dont do anything but rotate and they still can make company and bill theyr work type of deal paying under 20% total tax which is smaller than in USA of muttland.
next year you just need to fix tax report and detuct everyting you bought or used that year.(like personal computer and mobile phone)
My salary is shown 20-25% smaller in taxation as i deduct so much and Im not rich who has access to all the tools.

Cuckfornia has higer taxrate than any EU country.

>top personal rate
irrelevant and if you want argue otherwise consider the US top income tax bracket for fed is 37% and most are paying 4-8% in state and local tax.

the real question should be: what is the effective tax rate for a middle class person?

What a worthless map

Top income bracket is useless as a metric, yes taxation is theft and useless but at least use a map that shows that

Heres an interesting graph for germany, it shows the evolution of the ratio between highest tax bracket and average income, it shows that the average income is now nearly at the top tax bracket because it was never adjusted for the inflated fiat we are seeing, meaning the average german wagie now nearly pays top tax brackets even though its *average* top kek

it greatly depends on your employer or whether or not you have employer subsidized healthcare or you're doing state exchange healthcare, and the latter greatly depends on which state you live in.

It all depends on how you prefer to live. Would you prefer a racially homogenous, high trust society without so my inequality? Or would you prefer to live south africa style where you need to live in scattered enclaves away from the thirdies.

I eat right, exercise with a will, don't smoke or drink to excess, meditate, and generally live an optimally healthy lifestyle. I never go to the doctor, don't take any prescription drugs, rarely get sick and when I do I let my immune system handle it rather than go crying to some quack to give me pills that do more harm than good. Why should I pay for the healthcare of the hordes of obese, lazy, sickly pigs around me?

i live in pennsylvania. insurance is regulated at the state level. i took a screenshot from my state's exchange. whether or not you can buy health insurance "off exchange" depends on which insurance companies are selling to individuals (non business entities) in your state.
