I'll see the occassional truther (and larpers let's not kid ourselves) post about how they have $2m net worth or whatever and they're STILL whining about being "poor".

I mean, what the actual fuck? You can't even the imagine the things I'd do to be in your lucky ass shoes right now. Why don't you sell your mcmansion then retire to a smaller home, make a budget off of passive income from the invested extra equity money from your sold mcmansion, and just retire frugally?

It REALLY does make me think, did any of you millionaires actually EARN the money you made, or you really did just get stupidly lucky (inheritance, shitcoins, etc.) but your milky way galaxy sized egos absolutely can't stand to admit it? I ask this because I wonder about your lot's critical thinking/resourcefulness skills sometimes. I mean fuck, HOW the fucking hell did you even become a millionaire in the first place if you don't have any budgeting skills for example? What a twisted world we live in man, all these bitch ass spoiled mofos crying about the amazing wealth they already have.

If you're White and you have a triple digit IQ, you always have 100k away by the time you're 25, and a couple million in your early 30s. Making money is so easy it's impossible to fuck up.

There are women out there who aren't gold diggers. I'm not saying your gal is one (maybe she is who the fuck knows), but maybe you should look at your budget sheet and see what went wrong if $1.5m isn't working out for you. Are you in an oversized house for example? Ok at least I'll concede that shit like childcare is unbelievably stupidly expensive, food is expensive, and hospital bills can absolute wreck you. Even in spite of all of that, c'mon man. At least be grateful for the position you're in.

A big chunk of biz thinks you can land a 150k job by hard bootstraping and keep it all, no concept about taxes, and still live in a 500 basement apartment in bum fuck nowhere. No concept that that the job requires you to spend 2500 dollars a month on rent (more on a house), another 1000 on car + insurance + gas (or 4000 on rent so if you want it walkable). Then add basic living expenses like eating.

I'm not saying you can't save at 100k a year, but most of this board acts like a 13 year old who total real world budgeting experience is their allowance. How can you make 200k a year and spend it all? Live in any metro where you can get a job that pays 200k a find out.

I thoroughly fucked up early in life, got addicted to crack and sobered up. I consider myself lucky. But at the same time, my rebellious and some impulsiveness is what made me hodl. A big part of separating yourself is ignoring the massive sea of naysaying normies who think life isn’t an adventure game and more like connect the dots, which it isn’t

not too far off reality. I know several people who paid their kids "salary" when they were young and had them put it all in a roth IRA. Turn 21 and have 600, 800, 7 figures from 10k into the sp500. You don't ever have to save another penny.

>>60639677
I went to a private high school. I went to a top university. I work at f500. I live in a nice area. I know a handful of 6 figure poors but it's because they're complete shit with money. Turns out when you buy pay 6000 in rent and 2500 in a lease and eat dinner nice places every night, add a few trips it's easy to burn 350k with nothing to show for it. it doesn't help that 360k a year is hair under 20k a month after taxes,

I have a networth more than 2m and I live comfortable but not rich. a lot of money is tied up in investments that I don’t tap into because I want it to continue to grow until I retire. So despite having a networth in the millions I don’t live on that money. I still have a job, drive in traffic, sit in my wage cage, and drive an old beater that cost me only few hundred a year to maintain. I do plan on retiring early which is the whole point of saving.

Because 2 million in 2025 isn't rich.
>100k-200k on jewelry and nice clothes
>300k-500k on a nice apartment or a small house
>100k-300k on a nice car
>now you're only left with 1 million
>100k on travelling to places, buying gifts to your friends, family and gf
>already at 900k and now you have to pay for the upkeep/taxes of the things you bought

So you're really left with only 100k of that 2 million.

You're doing good driving an old beater, but you could literally just throw some of that 2 mil (outside of your primary residence) into something like the SPX and live off passive income alone frugally. I mean, unless your goal in life is being a beer gutted 70 year old driving a Carrera GT, what the hell are you doing torturing yourself with commuting in your stage?

You only proved my OP main point. Your budget is absolutely vomit inducing. I could forgive you if you got fleeced in a divorce or got scammed with childcare or hospital bills, but damn, $300k on a nice car? You know cars in that price range are infamous for their shit reliability, right? You literally might as well throw your money into a blender at that point. Good grief.

P.S.: flip some of those overpriced rolexes you bought and you'll have some comfy money back
