Meanwhile my market which was extraordinarily hot is cooling but somehow I feel very confident still that things are going to continue up, just at a normal pace now vs. the +10-20%/year we were getting for the past 6 years.

It's happening near me too. Houses sit on zillow for years unless they are at least a pretty good deal, meanwhile 80% of the homes were trying to market themselves as a speculative investment in a "quickly up and coming area" or whatever. I'm seeing price drops more and more every few months. AND THEY ARE STILL SITTING UNSOLD!

renting is literally a better deal than owning right now in literally every desirable area of the US
>heh landlords just pass on all costs of ownership onto the rentoids!!!
they literally can't. there are these things called market forces that prevent them from raising the rent to cover all the costs. and as more and more hoom baggies decide to become landlords rather than sell at a loss, rents will only further decrease

Your dollar can buy half as much as it could when you purchased that house, and it's only increased by 25%? Lol that's fucking brutal.

The funniest part is that they don't even own the house they pretend they do, all while larping as a real estate mogul.

Canada is the record holder of the fastest country to go from first to third world status in a few decades and it's entirely self-inflicted.

Any realtor tactually trying to help you knows the bottom isnt in just yet. Give it another year or two and housing prices in the US are gonna get hella comfortable again.

And dont waste the opportunity renting, buy.

Weird flex but sure, rather than waving your dick around thinking you are some kind of baller how about you focus on the discussion within the thread regarding the housing market?

Whilst we are on the topic of you attempting to flex understand that someone will always have better rate and terms than yourself, for instance my rate is lower, purchased my house cheaper and unlike yourself being a colossal faggot, I always dispute my value every year to keep my taxes at a minimum so I can actually invest capital elsewhere.
