I’m a loser.. I’m 30 years old and stuck suffering in Australia with only $40,000 in the bank. Which took 6 YEARS TO SAVE UP FOR!

I’m too stupid to know what I should do with my money. Should I invest in crypto/stocks? Or buy a rental property?

I don’t think there’s much hope for me. I have zero qualifications except a forklift license so I’m basically fucked.

How does a broke person find the drive to keep going in life?

Sounds like you need the balls to gamble it all for make-it money. I'd recommend starting with some options. Look into buying calls on big companies that dip a little. Although, some would argue sports betting is better. Personally, I've sailed that boat and it's all rigged.

Lump sum your savings into BTC at the bottom of the next bear market then buy as much BTC as you can every pay day after that.

Good morning sir, please consider buying XRP

If you put $40.000 into XRP right now, you might as well be a multi millionaire in the next 5 to 10 years

What? You want him to gamble away his $40k? It took him 6 years. Gambling is for degenerates. Only a small percentage of them are winning, and even after that they all lose eventually, because they don't know how to stop. There was a guy here recently who reached $2 million with crypto options and went back to the zero because of Trump tariffs hitting the markets back in february

You're paralysed because you're scared of losing the 40k that it took a long time to save for.

Easy solution.
20k into the ASX200 betashares ETF. You wont ever see it drop to zero and should see somewhat consistent 8-12%pa growth.
10k into crypto - your choice as to how you split it. DCA in more and more and just keep hitting it despite any losses - you'll eventually get there.

Keep 10k-15k in the bank for living expenses. For any over the top expenses you can just sell portions of your ETF.

I guess you could do that but honestly it's going to be a lot more stress than it's worth. Rural property doesn't get the same kind of capital gains that property in the suburbs/inner city gets

I’ve looked at the history of these rural houses. They hardly increase in value. Even post Covid they barely moved. You’re probably right. Rich investors would be snapping these up if they were actually worth it.

Bad timing now but dca into crypto and stocks. Crypto mostly. You need to dca understand the market and give your brain time to understand money better. This will remove the paralysis. Dumped 20k is scary and could go bad, putting in $50 weekly is not. Do that now and at least you are getting started. You really should have 5 years ago and you'd be able to buy your red brick crackville home with cash.

Its mostly because people who move out to rent in rural areas are age pensions, disabled, etc, on state pensions, and bogan's, bushpigs, etc. Your rental income will always be low. If you were to do it the safest bet would be old people.

I've lost my job. My home, my credit. I'm a straight man, I get denied benefits. I am considered ABWD. Able bodied willing to work. Thing is, if I work I'll make too much to even qualify.
I got turned down from little ceasers pizza. I used to work in quality engineering. .
It's been 17 months. Wife left with the children to stay with her mother. At least with her working they all can get Medicaid.
I've been selling Walmart brand water at the park to get by.
I have 10k.
5 in cash
The rest in assorted coins from saving since my kids birth. (They are in early high-school)
I am desperate l, but strong willed and haven't resorted to gambling or drinking my savings away.

I am contemplating investing in crypto. I'm looking at PEPE or SHIB since they are the cheapest.
How bad is it for me?
(I'm hoping FedEx contacts me with a.3rd shift position package handler)
