CAN ONE OF YOU JEWS PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS:
If an HYSA gives 3.7% APR and a dividend stock like SCHD has a 3.77% yield, why the fuck would I risk my money on the stock?
SCHD specifically crabs at the 26-27 range so its not like you make gains that way.

You can make more money on SGOV ~4.8% dividend yield and the profit is taxed as income instead of capital gains. You can definitely make more on index funds ~10% APY

tl;dr: frequency of cash distributions, favourable tax treatment of capital gains, liquidity, and the fact that you don't pay a fee to hold the stock.

Gold is money, boy. Gold is the only sure store of value, has been, and will be, for all of human history. Investing in gold, no matter the medium, is a winning play, and will be, forever.

If gold was money they wouldn't waste time turning it into computer chips and just hold it forever instead.

cancer isn't the worst part. a cunt once broke into the gold room of a mine site that was not operational and smashed up all the concrete floor and crushed it, then used the mercury method of extraction like in this vid. he inhaled too many mercury and other fumes in the process and gave himself permanent brain damage. cunt is certified retarded now.
