I mean maybe I'm a midwit, but it kind of does matter.
I mean, you have to have a certain amount of money flowing in for the price to go up.
And if the market cap is high, it's impossible to do huge jumps like a 100x.

Or maybe I'm missing something.

Visa's Market Cap is 675.53B but Visa saw over 16T move through it in 2024. It's not about valuation it's about pass through.

Think of it in terms of a commodity. Does the market cap of oil have any importance? The cost of each barrel of oil matters because you need oil to operate in the modern economy. But total market cap of oil is extraneous.

Think of xrp like that. Market Cap is not so important, but the price of 1 xrp relative to its utility is important. We know what a barrel of oil's utility is, so price is relatively stable. But what is xrp utility? That is the question.

There's only so many vehicles in the world that use oil. So no matter what, there is a limit on how much you can sell.
And therefore how much you can sell it for.

XRP going above $20 is highly unlikely.
These idiots are just being delusional.
.t own $45,000 of XRP

Except nobody is fucking using XRP and this is all pure speculation. Even if by some miracle SOME banks started using xrp this year for some reason (which, btw, we're still months out from regulators giving out guidance per genius law guidelines) it still wouldn't equate to even half of btc's current mcap. Fools.

Hello fellow time traveler. I'm glad to see you mnaged to hold on to one!
Most people got shook out during the great flipping when it jumped to 3500. If only they had waited 2 more weeks.
Still, the great ropenning did go a long way towards solving the global population crisis.
