spot shorting crypto is insanely expensive in the US and i dont want to have to apply for a futures trading account or use defi, im hoping this is a new cheap easy way to hedge crypto if the market goes ballistic in the next year

sorry i should still try to be helpful, a big advantage of hedging is tax minimizing so converting ETH to aETH by messing around with depositing collateral back and forth to the aave smart contract is something i want to avoid

update: i think shorting crypto ETFs in a brokerage account is basically free. hope it stays that way when the mania really gets going
