It's simple, just hide your crypto in a safe then take it out when the sun no longer poses a threat. As long as the flares don't physically touch your crypto then you're fine

its not coming as a surprise, the sun is monitored (by you hopefully too) and as soon as a large flare happens we would have a couple hours to prepare:
