Why do any of you faggots bother with inferior assets? Sealed Pokemon cards out perform 90% of assets shilled on this board.

Pokemon cards are actual tulip mania. It's pretty funny that redditors compare crypto to tulips then """invest""" in this shit because it appeals to their """""inner child""""" (translation: they're all manbabies who will never ever ever ever ever grow up)

Cope however you want. If you would've bought a $100 box of pokemon 25,20,15,10,5 years ago, youd be able to afford an actual gf. If you bought the right box, youd be up six figures now. The hobbies booming now, but its pretty nigger tier call it tulip mania.

Go to a card show. They will pay you straight cash for them usually at 80 percent of market value. Evolving skies is really sought after though so you could probably get 90 percent for it. They need to be sealed in the original plastic though.

If you “invest” in Pokémon you have to deal directly with the lowest grade of trash people on a regular basis to just buy and sell. No thanks. I prefer crypto because I don’t have to haggle with some incel who’s going to do a chargeback in 89 days over a couple hundred dollars

The worst part is that my mom has probably thrown out at least 50k worth of Pokémon cards for ‘taking up space’ in the garage

I mean fair enough I stopped playing with it 20 years ago and it was collecting dust but i know for a fact that I had a holo blastoise, can’t remember if either of the 3 charizards were holo and some other goodies from the first set, and they were in a binder so probably not bad wear either

Also probably have some old cartridges of yellow blue gold silver crystal sapphire ruby emerald

I work at a walmart… can I make money grabbing all the heavier packs and selling them? I always have the closing shift so I could probably just rummage through the shit before I leave for the night

Not everything is worth money lmao it also depends on the condition. You retards are what makes the market unbearable thinking you got gold when you got a heavily played borderline damaged card and want top dollars for it. Also who cares about base set Blastoise? Unless it's Shadowless or Shadowless + 1st ed, a regular one is just regular. You can still get fresh out of box mint of those cause people still crack old boxes nowadays same for Charizards.

Pokemon Go bubble bursted a while back. During the pandemic it was the Logan Paul bubble. The current one is from the mobile card game. It's about to burst too, Rudy from Alpha Investments has been freaking out for weeks now cause that guy has been the loudest retard in the business but the retard that is always right.

Weighing packs for Pokemon isn't really a thing anymore lol. Pokemon hates it so much that every pack's weight is random and one pack being heavy isn't indicative anymore of it having a hit since you do get foils every pack.

That's your first mistake retard. TCG player is better cause you can't really list there unless you're a store.

I already have a gf, the fact that you thought to bring that up to insult me goes to show how truly pathetic the type of person who falls for this shit is. Check how much retro game prices are down since covid. This will soon be your fate as well if you don't change your ways

He was projecting lmao. I personally never treated any of this shit as investment. I buy cards cause I legit like the art and they give me warm fuzzy feeling in this retarded full of nigger planet. Reminds me of the good times before I woke up one day and realized nothing matters. I usually let out a chuckle whenever I check and see my old cards having any value at all.

TCG has no offers for 1st ed.
Ebay has sold listings, but there are very few with bids, top is $10k.
I guess it's a very illiquid market.
