>career advice
>from someone who still wages
is there anything more presumptuous and worthless? a failure who still works for a living, yet has the audacity to advise on a course of action that would yield more toiling, more wageslavery?

This is how I feel about consulting. If I hire a consultant and they aren't a part time retiree I request a refund. Imagine taking advice from some kid with no experience

>retiring in your 50's
what do you think this is, 1955 or something? Only people that can do that are those who waged for 20 years and got a pension or something.

im in my 30s and don't plan to work past 40.

i don't know that i'd tell people to go to college today, but it worked for me a decade ago. work hard, rise quickly, make money, invest

inb4
>work hard
i'd rather degen gamble on shitcoins and pray to my milky god

I think you'd get better advice from someone who still works than from me, even though I'm retired with a 8 figure net worth
>git gud at programming
>farm RuneScape gold and sell it for Bitcoin when it was less than $1000 each
>get lucky with shitcoins in late 2017 when everything was pumping
>grind Leetcode to get even better at programming, farm more RuneScape gold and sell it for Bitcoin when it was less than $10000 each
>make my own shitcoin in the prev bull market and get lucky again

This isn't exactly advice you can act on since the state of the programming market is pretty dire atm, RuneScape botting is much more difficult than it used to be, and Bitcoin is obviously much more expensive

I still work and do continuing education.

Then again, I don't give unsolicited career advice.

And I only show up so I can tell dick and fart jokes with the boys out in the shop because I stopped maturing at 15.
